Lil Wayne stomped on an American flag over the weekend.

He's filming a music video for "God Bless Amerika" in his hometown of New Orleans, and it all started off harmlessly enough, with Weezy rapping in front of the flag.

Old Glory is then released to the ground - already a big no-no, as we learned on Flag Day - at which point Wayne continues to rap, while stomping on it.

The lyrics, believe it or not, are just as controversial, which isn't shocking from a man who infamously rapped about beating up a p---y like Emmett Till.

"My country 'tis of thee / Sweet land of kill 'em all and let 'em die / God bless Amerika / This ole' godless Amerika," raps the lightning rod that is Tunechi.

It's his constitutional right to do this, of course ... but that doesn't mean people will line up to defend him. We're anticipating quite the opposite in fact.

The film is based on the memoir of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker convicted of fraud and money laundering, and sentenced to nearly two years in jail.

DiCaprio plays Belfort, with Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Jean DuJardin, Kyle Chandler, Jon Bernthal, Jon Favreau, Cristin Milioti, Rob Reiner, and Christine Ebersol also starring.

The Wolf of Wall Street will hit theaters November 15.

Man of Steel soared to record-breaking heights over the weekend, setting a box office record for June.

Man of Steel has finally hit theaters! You know what that means: a nauseating amount of "It's a bird, it's a plane" puns in headlines and articles.

Well not in this one, no! We Clark Can't bring ourselves to stoop to that level.

Man of Steel broke a June record opening weekends, earning $113 million over the three day period (plus an extra $12 million at Thursday evening preview screenings).

The previous record was held by Toy Story 3, which took in $110 million in its first three days in theaters back in 2010.

Ben Scott may be playing a major role on The Bachelorette so far this season, from his young son on the premiere to brazenly c--k-blocking the competition.

It doesn't look like he made a lasting impression on Desiree Hartsock, however.

You don't need The Bachelorette spoilers to tell you how this is going to play out. Just check out today's Katie, in which she forgets his name on camera:

Chris Harrison is on hand today to help host an all-Bachelor special on Couric's show (CBS Evening News, this is not), but the highlight comes from Des.

When Katie asks about the Ben Scott drama, Desire Hartsock replies "I guess there were some things that were red flags with, um, what's his name?"

Yeah. We wouldn't put money on Ben if we were the betting types (which we totally are), but you can expect there will be lots more of him this evening.

Every season needs a villain who isn't there for the right reasons.

Charles Saatchi has spoken out about his alleged choking of wife Nigella Lawson.

As previously reported, witnesses told a British newspaper that the couple got into a major argument at a restaurant... that Lawson looked especially upset... and that Saatchi reached across the table at one point and wrapped his hands around her neck.

In the face of published photographs that depict this act, the 70-year old art collector The Standard:

“About a week ago, we were sitting outside a restaurant having an intense debate about the children, and I held Nigella’s neck repeatedly while attempting to emphasise my point.

“There was no grip, it was a playful tiff. The pictures are horrific but give a far more drastic and violent impression of what took place. Nigella’s tears were because we both hate arguing, not because she had been hurt."

Miley Cyrus was busy on Twitter this weekend.

In the wake of her parents' divorce, the singer posted a photo of herself, her sister and her mother (aka the Baddest Bitches in the world!), seemingly taking the side of Tish over Billy Ray in their recent split.

But Miley also spent time in Chicago to promote her latest single at B96's SummerBash... and also to make clear her utter disdain for pants.

The wedding of Taj Jackson and Tayana Jackson was a major family affair, with one notable exception: Michael Jackson's daughter Paris Jackson.

The Sunday nuptials of Taj and Tayana took place at the family's Hayvenhurst home, and "was like a family reunion," says a source inside the wedding.

Taj Jackson is the oldest son of Michael's brother Tito, and the older brother of TJ Jackson, who in 2012 was named co-guardian of MJ's three children.

One of whom, Paris Jackson, was conspicuously absent Sunday.

"No one said a word about Paris," an E! source says, adding that the troubled teen "really wanted to come but they wouldn't let her out of the hospital."

But as Kim Kardashian negotiates the most lucrative deal she can make before revealing more information about her daughter takes a few private days with her newborn, Kris Jenner appeared last night at the Daytime Emmy Awards and gushed over the addition.

"We're all good... and extremely happy and thrilled for the new baby," Kris told HLN's A.J. Hammer. "She's doing great and she's beautiful."

Earlier yesterday, Khloe Kardashian also spoke out for the first time as a new aunt.

She Tweeted appreciation to fans for all their wishes and teased that details will be released "when the time is right."
