It is the end of a residential era for Kate Gosselin.

And, of course, for her many children as well.

According to a tabloid insider, Kate Gosselin is planning a major holiday meal this week.

With two major exceptions, that is.

Kate Gosselin has officially moved on from her former life.

First, of course, she divorced husband Jon back in 2009.

For years now, Jon Gosselin has blasted his ex-wife for the ways in which she allegedly abused their son, Collin.

Jon has been relentless in claiming that Kate Gosselin shipped an undiagnosed 13-year old off to a special needs facility ... stopped talking to him... and left him as an emotional mess.

Jon Gosselin simply refuses to go away.

In the wake of accusations that he assaulted his 16-year old son, Collin, in early September, the former reality star has spoken to a number of outlets to not only deny this incident ever took place...

Over the past few weeks, Kate Gosselin has understandably been very concerned about something that allegedly took place at her ex-husband's home.

Jon Gosselin, as you must know by now, was accused last month of assaulting the former couple's teenage son, Collin.

Mady Gosselin would really prefer to stay away from any and all drama.

However, as has often been the case for members of this famous family, simply being the daughter of Kate and Jon Gosselin makes this nearly impossible.

The truth has allegedly come out about Kate Gosselin and the way she treated her son, Collin.

And this alleged truth is very, very, VERY ugly.

Jon Gosselin would very much like his ex-wife to stop calling him an awful, terrible, violent and abusive person.

But he may not be getting his wish granted any time soon.

For the saddest of reasons, Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin are making it feel like 2011 all over again these days.

The former husband and wife -- who starred for years together on TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8, prior to divorcing in 2009 and trashing each other left and right in a multitude of interviews -- are back at it.

Back when they co-starred on Jon and Kate Plus 8, the Gosselins were sort of a running joke.

They just seemed to exasperated by life and sick of each other, you know?

Jon Gosselin has been accused of physically assaulting his 16-year-old son Collin, prompting an investigation by the Berks County Children & Youth Services in Pennsylvania.

Like thousands of other college students, Mady Gosselin was stuck at home when the pandemic hit.

Now, despite appearing without a mask in a public bathroom selfie, Mady is assuring fans that she's not a covidiot.

Just as she discourages the kids from contacting their dad, Kate Gosselin rarely gives fans a glimpse at her kids unless she's monetizing it through reality TV.

But this week, Kate allowed for a rare exception to mark a very special milestone.

Jon Gosselin's two eldest children may be too brainwashed to speak to him, but it looks like Mady still has a good head on her shoulders.

As impassioned protests continue from coast to coast, she is speaking up against racism.

It sounds like Kate Gosselin's brainwashing is only part of why Jon isn't in touch with his six other kids.

He encourages the kids to visit with each other, but apparently Kate wont let her four sextuplets meet with defectors Hannah and Collin.

16-year-old Collin Gosselin iced out his awful mom on Mother's Day, and we could not be prouder.

Kate was terrible, but there's one person to whom Collin can look as a mother figure -- Colleen.

Okay, fine.

You got us.

Collin Gosselin took a few moments on Mother's Day to pay tribute to the most important woman in his life.

Here's the thing, though:

Kate Gosselin broke more than child labor laws. When she still had custody, Jon says, she effectively broke Collin.

Jon is speaking out about the way that the trauma that Kate inflicted upon their son will haunt him for life.

Kate Gosselin is no longer allowed to exploit her children for money. In fact, she is under investigation for breaking child labor laws.

Jon has been saying that she needs to get a real job like he did. Since she's a registered nurse, he says, there is no time like the present.

Early this year, it was reported that TLC had fired Kate Gosselin for exploiting her children after she filmed her four minors without a permit.

Now, that same allegation has her under investigation by the Department of Labor.

While most of the Gosselin children are stuck at home with Kate during this pandemic, Hannah and Collin get to live with Jon.

But Jon says that Kate is withholding money belonging to both teens, and he has asked the court to hold her in contempt.
