Is Kate Middleton expecting twins? That's the rumor going around royal circles, for the second time in as many years, and Kate Middleton pregnancies.

At the root of this is Kate's severe morning sickness, or hyperemesis gravidarum, that has sidelined her both times and is often associated with twins.

Twins didn't materialize as rumored the first time Prince William got Kate Middleton pregnant, of course, so it would still be a long shot this time.

But a lot of people over in the UK would apparently take that action!

The royal betting market, which hilariously exists, has seen plenty of wagering on the 32-year-old having not one, but two royal babies come 2015.

The William Hill betting firm says it recently received about 200 bets on the arrival of twins, including "a significant gamble" that was made in York.

That's enough to send the odds tumbling down from 20:1 to 9:1.

With Kate Middleton's severe morning sickness forcing her to cancel a number of public appearances recently, the British press has had little to report on with regard to the Duchess' second pregnancy.

Kate resumed her royal schedule earlier this week, and even though she's hardly showing at this point, London tabloids filled the space left by her absence with speculation about the name of her royal offspring.

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge

One publication even went so far as to invite casino oddsmakers to determine the likelihood of each royal-approved name. (It's not a long list.)

If it's a boy, the gambling gurus say James and Arthur are the frontrunners.

Both are suitably king-like monikers (though baby #2 will most likely never take the throne), though some have pointed out that if Will and Kate go with Arthur, their kids will have the same name as Rob Kardashian's sock company.

The Royal Family is as outdated as Newsweek, but both continue to exist, albeit mainly in online form.

Despite the fact that they're two peas in an old-timey pod, Newsweek and the royals may soon be at odds thanks to an interview with Australian feminist author Germaine Greer that the magazine published this week.

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge

Asked about Kate Middleton's second pregnancy and resulting health issues, Greer went off on pretty much every member of the royal family except for Kate.

"Kate is a great deal more intelligent than the rest of the royals," Greer said. "She has been put in charge of William."

Greer went on to tackle the issue of Kate's severe morning sickness, which she believes to be symptomatic of a much larger problem:

There's no doubt the royal heir is getting a sibling. Not that there was ever doubt, since the Palace confirmed Kate Middleton is pregnant for the second time.

Still, the Duchess' second baby bump has made its online debut.

Duchess K

The smallest of baby bumps was photographed by Radar during a night out with husband Prince William to the King’s Head pub in Great Bircham, England.

Even though they have a country home, Anmer Hall, nearby, “Locals were stunned to see the royal couple saunter in and sit at a quiet table in the corner."

Guarded by four armed Royal Protection Squad officers, they both dined on black bream (a freshwater fish) with roasted vegetables on a bed of spinach.

Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a single vanilla ice cream (with two spoons! OMG!) for dessert, while Kate drank water and William had red wine.

Apparently, not everyone is a fan of Kate Middleton, Prince William and their future offspring after all. At the very least, something rubs some people the wrong way.

The media went into an absolute frenzy upon receiving word from the Palace that Kate Middleton is pregnant again, and suffering morning sickness again.

It's that second part that seems to aggravate the haters on Twitter.

The Duchess of Cambridge is once again suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe morning sickness that affects "0.5-2 percent of pregnant women."

She's had to cancel events as a result of being hampered by this, but just as she endured it with Prince George, Kate is expected to be fine soon enough.

Thus, news of her pregnancy and especially her pregnancy symptoms have become cause for annoyance on Twitter and other social media platforms.

With Kate Middleton pregnant again, you'd think the tabloid speculation surrounding all things Duchess of Cambridge would finally subside for a bit.

You would be wrong, though. Rumors and gossip are just as relentless, and more so now if anything as the ramps up to deliver the Spare to her Heir.

Most of it is total nonsense, but a new report from a British tabloid suggests something that isn't too far fetched, at least in theory. According to an alleged insider:

Kate wants three kids by the time she's 35!

Kate Middleton and Prince William Walk

She's 32 now, and turns 33 in January, which would mean she and Prince William would be getting down to business too long after their second child is born.

They waited about one year after Prince George was born, if you assume she's in her first trimester now, so such a plan is not unprecedented, or unrealistic.

Sources say the Duke and Duchess decided to have a second so close to their first so that Kate can have another still before she reaches high-risk age.

In case you somehow haven't heard, Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second child.

Yes, the heir will soon have a spare, as the 24-hour news networks never tire of telling of us.

And while the press is understandably thrilled to have some good news to report for once, some Brits may be upset with the fallout from Kate's pregnancy-related health concerns.

Royal Mom

As with her first pregnancy, Kate is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum - a sort of extreme morning sickness which has already caused her to miss a scheduled public appearance and forced the royal couple to announce her pregnancy sooner than planned.

Now it seems Kate and Will may soon use her condition to justify their permanent move out of London:

Mere hours after learning that Kate Middleton is pregnant for the second time, UK oddsmakers are already taking wagers on all things Royal Baby #2.

Kate Middleton Waving to Fans

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared their happy news earlier today. They're expecting their second child early next year, though it's unclear when.

Not unlike Kate's first pregnancy, her morning sickness is bad enough that she's sought medical treatment, and likely broke the news earlier than she'd like.

Having missed an official commitment today due to her condition, Kate and William revealed their exciting baby news rather than fuel the obligatory rumors.

Beyond the fact that Kate Middleton is pregnant, we know few details. That's not stopping fans from guessing - and betting - on just about all of them.

From the child's sex to his or her prospective name, wagers are pouring in, with bettors believing that young Prince George is getting a little brother.

Kate Middleton is pregnant again, and no, it's not just a tabloid rumor this time.

The beloved Duchess of Cambridge is officially expecting her second child with Price William, a Kensington Palace statement confirmed early Monday:

Prince George and Parents
Prince George, now one year old, is fascinated by butterflies in this adorable new photo released by the royal family. Parents Kate and William look on proudly.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child."

"The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."

This will be the second child for Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 32, who became parents for the first time when Prince George was born in London July 22, 2013.

As with George, Kate is currently suffering with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a very acute morning sickness, which hospitalized her early in her first pregnancy.

This time, however, the beautiful royal is being treated at home.

"As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum," said the statement, confirming her condition and public absence.

Despite being immersed in renovating their 10-bedroom country house, Anmer Hall, Prince William and Kate Middleton still made time for a date night.

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge

The royal pair - in faded blue jeans and sneakers (William) and skinny jeans and a sweater (Kate) were seen at the King's Head Hotel in Great Bircham.

Towards the end of their two-hour meal, the affable first-time visitors to the pub chatted happily with some locals who approached them at their table.

The King's Head wouldn't comment on the visit and as a rule, aside from the occasional well wishes, nearby residents tend to keep their distance.

"We see the royals around, but you don't acknowledge them, as it were. We just leave them, so they can be like everyone else," one local remarked.

"The royal family's been coming here for I don't know how many years, and I like the fact that they can come and just 'be' and do their own thing."

"It's just how we are in Norfolk ... we leave people alone."
