Daniel Radcliffe Defends Gay Marriage: It's About Equality!

Miley Cyrus has a famous friend in her fight for marriage equality.

In the latest issue of Attitude UK, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe comments on a number of societal issues, from the rise in teen suicide ("You used to be able to escape at the end of a day: now you can be hunted by mobile phone, Facebook, Twitter. It’s terrifying.") to his feelings on gay marriage.

Daniel Radcliffe on Attitude

“The ultimate reason gay marriage should be legalized everywhere is because, as a kid, you look to your mum and dad and they’re married; then you look at the gay couple who’ve been together for the same amount of time, but because they can’t get married their relationship doesn’t seem the same," the actor says, adding:

"Yes, gay marriage is about symbolically blessing a relationship, but the larger issue is about transmitting a fundamental message about equality. Gay people should have equality in law everywhere.”

Radcliffe is currently starring in The Woman in Black. What do you think of his stance on marriage?

Roland Martin to Meet With GLAAD in Wake of CNN Suspension

CNN's Roland Martin announced last night that he will meet with GLAAD in the wake of his suspension from the network over his "regrettable," homophobic tweets.

Martin was suspended by CNN indefinitely Wednesday afternoon after the controversy surrounding Tweets he fired off during Super Bowl XLVI Sunday evening.

Among other things, he said that people should "smack the ish" out of any male fans of a David Beckham underwear commercial. Controversy erupted quickly.

Martin Tweets

CNN, which was also criticized for its delayed response, took three days to respond to the calls by GLAAD and others to fire Martin or to address his tweets.

When it did, it called the statements "offensive" and against what the network stands for, adding that Martin would be off the air "for the time being."

Martin did not directly address his suspension Wednesday. But he tweeted two messages to his followers (above) detailing his plans to meet with GLAAD.

For its part, GLAAD lauded CNN's stand on Martin but also welcomed the political analyst's apology and offers to meet with and work with the group.

Does the suspension go far enough? Should Martin be fired?

Yes, he crossed a line!
No, it was just a joke!

Did George Huguely Murder Yeardley Love?

Former University of Virginia lacrosse player George Huguely is on trial for murdering his ex-girlfriend, Yeardley Love, in a case that has garnered national attention.

His first-degree murder trial included dramatic testimony Wednesday in Charlottesville, Virginia, from Love's two roommates, serving as witnesses for the prosecution.

The saga is People's cover story this week. What makes it so noteworthy?

The element of mystery surrounding the case, for one, and the fact that the accused is a Division I lacrosse star - who professes his innocence.

Caity Whiteley, who lived with Love and was on the lacrosse team with her, described returning to Love's apartment to ask her to go out with them.

With Yeardley Love, 22, face down in bed, just as Whiteley had last seen her, nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary, at least at first.

"Her hair was all messed up and pulled aside," Whiteley said, according to Charlottesville's Daily Progress. "I moved her hair, and then that's when I noticed."

"There were cuts on her face, and it was just messed up." Whiteley also testified that Love's body was warm but that her feet were cold at the time.

On Thursday, when graphic photos of Love's lifeless body were shown in court, her family sobbed, while George Huguely, 23, kept his head down.

Kylie Bisutti, Victoria's Secret Model, Quits Career to Honor God, Save Body For Husband

Lucky Guy(s).

Kylie Bisutti, a Victoria's Secret lingerie model, recently quit that job because it conflicted with her hardcore Christian beliefs, and to save her body for her husband.

She will still model, but only in ways that honor the Lord.

Bisutti, 21, appeared on Good Morning America on Thursday to discuss her decision, why she decided to quit, and how her husband Mike Bisutti feels about it ...

"Growing in my relationship with the Lord and my faith… I just became so convicted about wanting to honor my husband with my body and wanting to be a role model for younger women out there that look up to me," Kylie explained.

In 2009, then-19-year-old and newly married Kylie beat out 10,000 other hopefuls in a Victoria's Secret model search saying: "I have a very sweet personality, but don't let that exterior fool you. I want this, and I'll do what it takes to get it."

But Kylie said she had an epiphany one day, and not a good one.

Suge Knight Arrested For Marijuana Possession

Marion "Suge" Knight was arrested in Las Vegas yesterday after a traffic stop. Cops say the hip hop mogul was carrying marijuana on him at the time.

Law enforcement sources say the one-time Death Row CEO was pulled over at 5:34 p.m. Wednesday for making an unsafe lane change in his Bentley.

Police ran Suge's name in the system (must have sat there for hours) and found multiple warrants out for his arrest, stemming from traffic violations.

Suge Knight Mugshot

After a quick search, police say they discovered a small amount of marijuana in Suge's possession. Knight was hauled off to a nearby jail for processing.

He was released a short time later after the obligatory mug shot.

Things could get worse for the man, though. Suge Knight is currently on three years unsupervised probation for driving on a suspended license.

Might wanna considering just getting a driver, Marion.

Adam Levine announced this week the start of his own record label, following up that news with its first signing: Matthew Morrison!

“Starting my own label has been a long time goal of mine and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening,” Levine said in a statement. “I am excited for everyone to hear Matthew’s forthcoming album. Great things are in store for him with this release.”

The Glee star also chimed in and expressed enthusiasm for the "same vision" he says he and the Maroon 5 frontman share.

Fans can look forward to Morrison's second album, and first with Levine, some time this spring.

Michael Vick, Kris Humphries, Tiger Woods Lead List of Most Hated Athletes

America can be forgiving for many things, but Michael Vick still has a ways to go. He remains the most hated athlete in America, according to a Forbes poll.

Vick clocked in with an usually high awareness rate of 42 percent, meaning he’s well-known in America even among non-NFL fans ... but not in a good way.

“His awareness is up there with Peyton Manning, but a lot of it is people knowing him for the wrong reasons,” said Stephen Master, VP of Sports for Nielsen.

Top Dog!

Other notable names toward the top of the most-disliked list include Kris Humphries (Kim would totally be #1) Tiger Woods, Alex Rodriguez and Kurt Busch.

Mark McGwire, Randy Moss, Manny Ramirez and Ben Roethlisberger fell out of the dubious top 10, even if there was no major image rehab in any case.

One shocking 180 was that of the Detroit Lions’ Ndamukong Suh, who went from one of the NFL’s best-liked players to one of its worse in a matter of months.

Suh’s reputation took a beating after a highly public stomping of a Green Bay Packer on national TV on Thankgiving. It's no animal cruelty, but that'll do it.

Dog Bites News Anchor's Face on Live TV

What should have been a feel-good news story soon became anything but when Kyle Dyer, an anchorwoman at NBC's KUSA Denver affiliate, was bitten in the face by a dog that had been rescued by a heroic firefighter from an icy lake a day earlier.

The dog, an Argentine mastiff named Gladiator Maximus, bit Dyer on a live, in-studio segment on Wednesday after Dyer was petting the dog and kneeling down.

Paramedics and animal control were called in, while Dyer was rushed to the hospital for reconstructive surgery overnight. The three-year-old dog was taken to a Denver animal shelter where it is being "quarantined." The viral clip appears below:

Heather Mills Accuses Piers Morgan of Phone Hacking

Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills said on Thursday that an infamous voicemail of hers was obtained illegally by Piers Morgan, now a talk show host on CNN.

Before winning Celebrity Apprentice as a non-celebrity and moving on to the job with CNN, Morgan spent years as a tabloid newspaper editor in Great Britain.

Mills' infamous voicemail of McCartney begging her for forgiveness was obtained illegally, she says. Morgan has boasted in the past of hearing the recording.

Morgan has consistently denied he authorized the use of hacking in his tabloid days, but has not offered an explanation for how he came to hear the message.

The voicemail was left on Heather Mills' mobile phone.

The accusation has dragged Morgan back into the phone hacking scandal that damaged Rupert Murdoch's media empire and shut down The News of the World.

Giving evidence to an inquiry into British media ethics, Mills said she had left a house she shared with McCartney in early 2001 after they had had a fight.

She says she then turned her phone off, and the next morning, she had received 25 messages on her phone, all of which appeared to have been listened to.
