Miley Cyrus was born in November 1992.

Michael Jackson's last hit song, "You Are Not Alone," topped the charts less than three years later.

So while we don't doubt Cyrus was somewhat affected by the death of Jackson, the lengths to which she's grieving cause us to wonder about her intentions. Come on, Miley, was Michael Jackson really your "hero," as you Tweeted this week?!?

Or, like Lindsay Lohan, are you simply using the passing of a music icon as a means to divert attention to yourself and your fake personal mourning process?

Above the Twitter message Rocking out to 'BAD' in my bathroom. MJ is my hero!, Cyrus posted the following photo today:

Look, Jackson reshaped the world of music in numerous ways. We don't question the sincere reaction to his passing of singers such as Usher or Diddy, those that were alive during MJ's heyday.

We also can't imagine what a true lifelong friend, such as Diana Ross - who was included in Michael Jackson's will - is going through.

But can we please get a break from the outpouring of emotion and supposed sadness from young artists such as Miley Cyrus?

In her lifetime, she's only known Jackson as someone who admitted to sharing his bed with unrelated minors; as someone who actor Corey Feldman said, in 2005, used to show him naked photos of men when Feldman was young; as someone that dangled a baby over a balcony.

Jackson was as troubled as he was talented. It doesn't mean we're glad he's gone, nor does it mean we don't sympathize with those that were truly influenced by his life.

But it does mean we take issue with a Disney TV star and occasional country singer that exploits this death for her own agenda. Not everything is about you, Miley.

Where is Nick Jonas when you need him?!?

Miley Cyrus, evidently feeling lonely and randy, posted the following photo on Twitter this week.

Go ahead and defend the 16-year old, readers. Tell us how she's "just a kid" and how we need to "leave her alone." But, seriously, is it really appropriate for Miley to send around a provocative picture of herself doing a Leighton Meester sex tape impression?

What's the point of it? Someone please tell us.

As if the first concert of the Jonas Brothers' new tour in Arlington, Texas, last night wasn't awesome enough, a very special guest made an appearance.

That's right, none other than Miley Cyrus came on stage to sing her duet with Nick Jonas, "Before The Storm," off the latest Jonas Brothers album.

Looks like they've reconnected in more ways than one!

The two have spent QT together since she broke up with Justin Gaston recently, and Joe Jonas basically confirmed Nick and Miley are dating in an interview with Larry King. But this video may be the strongest evidence of their love yet.

From the way Miley looks at Nick during the performance, is there any doubt she is head over heels in love with him? We think not. We think not.

Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus: Before the Storm

If Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus' recently rekindled passion wasn't official before now, his brother Joe pretty much let the cat out of the bag on Larry King Live.

Asked by the ancient talk show host if he has a girlfriend, Joe Jonas admitted that he does, but wouldn't name names (it's Camilla Belle, we're fairly certain).

Asked if she is in "the business" or if she is as famous as Nick's girlfriend, Joe responded "I don't think anyone is as famous as Miley Cyrus." Case closed!

Kevin Jonas, in a relationship himself, then opined that perhaps, the obsession with Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus - or any 16-year-old's love life - is a bit silly.

Hard to argue with that - but it's fun!

In addition to grilling them on their romantic endeavors - maybe Larry was looking for some pointers, as he's been married like 11 times - King also talked to the three young hunks about their music and Nick's recent high school graduation.

Nick Jonas is not going to like this.

Miley Cyrus might have reconnected with Nick in recent weeks, embarking on some jet skiing fun in Savannah, Ga., and spending lots of QT together, but the 'tween queen is surrounded by serious hotties at every turn.

The Disney star is in Savannah shooting her new Disney project, The Last Song.

That's all well and good - or was, until the 16-year-old was seen locking lips and sharing a passionate embrace with a guy not named Nick yesterday.

Who could it be?

• Ex-beau Justin Gaston, rekindling the passion?
• Hunky Australian actor Liam Hemsworth?
• Random British singer Steve Rushton?

Within days of breaking up with Justin Gaston, Miley Cyrus is already embroiled in a dating controversy:

Is she hooking up with Steve Rushton or ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas?

While the actress didn't comment on the Rushton rumors during an interview with Nashville's 107.5, she did confirm a relationship of some kind with Jonas.

"He's my best friend, and we still hang out all the time," Miley said. "We've definitely reconnected. We don't know what's going to happen in the future, but right now we're just kind of kicking it and hanging out as much as we can."

While fans banter about her love life, Cyrus has given them something else to debate: a new nose piercing!

"I'll let people think what they will," she said of the nostril jewelery. "I hope no one is upset at me for doing it... I am a huge Kelly Clarkson fan and I loved when she had her nose pierced."

What do you think of the nose piercing? And, more urgently, who do you think Miley should date: Nick or Steve?

So much for those rumors of Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas getting back together.

Within days of being photographed riding a jet ski in Savannah with her ex-boyfriend, Cyrus is now being linked to a British singer named Steve Rushton.

The artist, whose songs have been played on numerous Disney Channel programs, portrayed the lead guitarist (pictured below) in Miley’s band in Hannah Montana: The Movie. Reportedly, the couple grew close as they traveled the world in recent months, promoting the film.

"Steve relocated to the U.S. after signing his deal with Disney," a source told The Sun. "Miley couldn’t wait for him to move.... They hit it off straight away. When they have been apart, they have been spending hours instant messaging each other."

Oh, one more thing: Steve Rushton is 22 years old.

We cannot report with certainty that Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas are dating again.

We can, however, provide photographic evidence that the young singer has undergone a different change in her life: Miley has pierced her nose.

The actress was snapped in Savannah this week, posing alongside mother Tish. You don't even need to look that closely in order to see the stud in her right nostril (click on the photo to enlarge it):

While we assume Nick would have preferred if Cyrus pierced her tongue, we're curious what fans think. Is a nose piercing cool? Or a lame attempt at trying to look cool?

Miley Cyrus is currently in Savannah, Georgia, as production gets underway for the Nicholas Sparks-penned movie The Last Song.

But fans of the singer are more interested in her current song; i.e., the duet she has undertaken with her rumored-to-be rekindled flame, Nick Jonas.

As the lyrics above - as well as Miley's own Tweets - imply, this couple is back together. In fact, Nick flew down to Savannah this week to be with Cyrus, as the pair were spotted jet skiing.

The photo below was taken by a local South Carolina television station. It's distant, and a bit grainy, but get close to the computer screen and squint: it's totally Miley and Nick!

Various sources are reporting that Miley Cyrus has broken up with Justin Gaston... possibly for Nick Jonas!

Both E! Online and Us Weekly have quoted insiders that claim the pair called it quits on Saturday, the same day each posted sad Twitter messages regarding the relationship.

As the young Hannah Montana heads to Los Angeles for two months to shoot a new movie, a friend says Miley simply ran out of time for the 20-year old underwear model.

"They have been having trouble for a while," said the source. "It's been hard for a long time since Miley has been working so much and traveling a lot."

But isn't a good, hot, Bible-toting guy worth fighting for? Unless, that is, Cyrus has another waiting in the wings...

Miley Cyrus: Out with the old(er) Justin Gaston and in with the new(er) Nick Jonas.

For a few weeks, Gaston has complained to friends about his girlfriend's resurrected relationship with Nick Jonas. That gorgeous body was reportedly being eaten up inside by the rekindled friendship.

"She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing," an insider told E! News. "She didn't cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time."

Adding fuel to this juicy fire? On Saturday, Cyrus posted a mysterious message on her Twitter page:

"I'm in a dark theater 'writing' a song with nick j who is rockin a faded eggplant shirt! :)"

Did Miley just imply - or simply state, really - that she was hooking up with Nick Jonas inside a movie theater?!? Is there any other way to interpret her "writing" reference?
