Whatever you want to call the next phase of the popular TLC reality show in the wake of Jon and Kate Gosselin packing it in after 10 years of marriage, it's the remaining, adorable eight whom some experts worry about most.

"I'm sad to think their custody might be part of what we're observing on day-to-day basis," says Mary Cushing Doherty, a family law attorney in Norristown, Pa.

The question for a Pennsylvania court could be whether it's in the best interest of the children to have their lives broadcast as children of divorce - is that just too much emotional baggage for any minor to carry period, let alone on TV?

This means a court could order that the kids no longer can be on on TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8, which returns from its hiatus with new episodes August 3.

The network suspended filming on its top-rated program Tuesday to gloss over the fact that Jon and Kate split up allow the Gosselin family to "regroup."

Even if Jon and Kate Gosselin reach a private custody agreement, there's still a chance "the law will reach in and say, 'I think these kids need a child advocate because people have not been looking out for their interests,'" Doherty says.

TLC has said it "continues to support the family and will work with them to determine the best way to tell their story as they navigate through a difficult time."

Another thorny issue could involve splitting the estate, which isn't just about who gets the $1.3 million house Kate and Jon Gosselin live in with their brood.

Any assets acquired between the marriage and separation are Jon and Kate's together, so it's not as if one party earned them. Also, the question remains as to the content of their contract with TLC. What if ratings dwindle and they are canceled?

Yet another interesting issue is who's more likely to be the celebrity moving forward. Is she more likely going to have a steady stream of income, or is he?

Atypically for divorce proceedings, Kate did not request child support or alimony. The interesting thing is going to be whether Jon asks for financial help.

God, Lindsay Lohan is pathetically in need of attention.

The out-of-work actress exploited Michael Jackson's death this week in an attempt to make headlines and seem like she was one of the millions of people affected by the passing of the King of Pop.

Lohan Tweeted a poolside picture of herself posing like Jackson. But she isn't self-involved, of course, because "M.J. was playing when this was taken, I'm not that much of narcissist," as she told her Twitter follwers.

In related news, if you follow Lindsay Lohan on Twitter, you really need to get a life.

Meanwhile, Lindsay also gave an interview to Britain’s OK! Magazine prior to her 23rd birthday last week.

In the conversation, Lohan - forgive us as we stifle fits of laughter - focused on her dedication to, and obsession with, work.

“It’s not that hard to be me, but I do work harder than most of my friends’ parents. I’m a workaholic," she said. "I don’t know what to do when I’m not working. I get creatively frustrated. I am the hardest-working person I know."

Note to Lindsay: working some random dude's pole every Saturday night does not qualify you as a workaholic.

Britney Spears' music video for “Radar” has been released. It’s the fourth single from her latest album, Circus, and needless to say, she looks smokin'.

The video was shot May 27-28 at the Bacara Resort & Spa just north of Santa Barbara, Calif. "Radar" was directed by Dave Meyers, who previously collaborated with Britney Spears on her music videos “Lucky,” “Boys,” and “Outrageous.”

We owe every Tameka Foster hater an apology.

From the outset of her relationship with Usher, his fans have been bashing Foster and her intentions with the R&B singer. Looks like they were right.

A few weeks after it was announced that the couple had been living apart for almost a year, Foster is going on record with her supposed ignorance over the state of her marriage.

In a court filing this week, Tameka claims she and her soon-to-be ex-husband have not been separated since July 2008 and were actually "intimately together" less than a week before he began divorce proceedings.

Come on, Tameka. TMI!

She had "every reason to believe her marriage was intact," Foster's lawyer states in documents filed Monday in Atlanta.

However, because it clearly was not, the mother of two sons with Usher now aims for her estranged husband to take care of all legal fees pertaining to the divorce and to continue to support his family financially.

Let's hope Grace Miguel, Usher's rumored new squeeze, is a bit more of an understanding woman. Can't a brother just sing, dance, sport the best abs in Hollywood and be left alone when he wants to be?

While her dating life has been scrutinized - she publicly broke up with Joe Jonas and she was pimped out to Jonathan Cook - the professional life of Taylor Swift has never been better.

In fact, she was the top-selling artist in the world in 2008.

The beautiful country star reacts to that fact in the latest issue of Glamour. She says:

"It just blows my mind, because I’ve been trying to do this all my life. I remember the girls who would come to talent shows and say to anyone they met, 'I’m so-and-so - I’m going to be famous someday.' I was never that girl. I would show up with my guitar and say, “This is a song I wrote about a boy in my class.” And that’s what I still do today."

In the interview, Swift also touches on insecurities and any future relationships:

On celebrity body issues: I think the reason a lot of celebrities feel insecure and want to stop eating altogether is because they see so many pictures of themselves on a daily basis. It’s unhealthy how many times you see your own image. When you see something enough, you’re going to tear it down to the point where some days you feel like you’re not even pretty.

On dating: It’s always going to be long-distance, even if I date the boy who lives next door to me in Nashville. I’ll be flying to see him and flying him places to see me. It feels like it would involve more scheduling, and I already deal with a lot of scheduling in my life. Of course, if I met somebody who was worth it, I would probably stop thinking that way!

In an exclusive interview with WooMeTV, Stephanie Pratt of The Hills took a break from her busy schedule of being annoying and doing nothing to come clean to fans (which apparently she has) about her experience with the "master cleanse" diet.

We'd sum it up for you, but Stephanie, who recently opened up about battling bulimia on the cover of Us Weekly, is just so painful to listen to that we sort of tuned out 30 or 40 seconds in. Sorry. We can only endure so much punishment.

While lawyers for Michael Jackson's family claim no will exists for the late singer, a seven-year-old draft for a final testament surfaced yesterday.

The 2002 Michael Jackson will, believed to be his most current, reportedly left his estate to his mother, Katherine Jackson, along with his three children - Michael Jr., 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7 - and at least one charity.

Whether Arnold Klein allegedly being the biological father of the elder two and Jackson never formally adopting them becomes an issue is uncertain.

Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, wasn't listed as an heir.

Whether Joe's omission was deliberate is unclear, however, Michael has stated Joe was mentally and physically abusive of him during his upbringing.

The document, which surfaced yesterday, names his attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain as executors of the estate. Branca was on retainer for Jackson from 1980-2006 and was rehired shortly before the singer's death.

While Michael Jackson reportedly died with $400-500 million in debt, the value of his vast assets likely outweigh that by $200 million or more.

The 2002 will could be submitted to court as early as Thursday. John Branca has said he will file it within 30 days of the singer's tragic death.

Meanwhile, fans of Michael Jackson - those who choose to live, anyway - will get a chance to take part in laying him to rest when the singer's family organizes a public viewing of his body at Jackson's Neverland ranch near Santa Barbara.

Citing the Santa Barbara's Sherriff Department, E! Online says plans are underway to accommodate large crowds at the estate for a Friday viewing.

"Our guys are meeting as we speak with the California Highway Patrol to discuss the security issues," says Lt. Butch Arnoldi, a department spokesman.

Earlier in the week, Michael Jackson's brothers Jermaine and Tito visited the property and a delivery truck was spotted dropping off boxes, E! reports.

CNN reports a public viewing of the late music icon will held on Friday at Neverland, with a private service for the family to follow on Sunday.

Those Shia LaBeouf rumors didn't last long.

A day after reports linked her to her Transformers co-star, sources are confirming that Megan Fox is most definitely back together with Brian Austin Green.

In fact, while Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was earning over $200 million at the box office this weekend, the actress was reportedly driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to meet up with Green very early Sunday morning.

An insider close to the couple tells OK! that the twosome is so totally on again.

“Megan and Brian are definitely together. They call each other 'baby' and are just so cute together. I don’t think they ever really broke up. They’re so comfortable and ridiculously cute. In the elevator Megan put on chapstick with her finger and then put the rest from her finger on his lips. They seem so happy together and so in love.”

At least this week, that is.

Once this chapstick-fest dies down, however, we hope Fox takes Kim Kardashian up on her girl krush.
