Usually, Teen Mom feuds play out on camera -- or at least on social media.
But the ongoing battle between Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards has taken place largely behind closed doors.
Well, a new year is upon us, and there's no better time for burying old grudges and letting bygones by bygones.
But don't tell that to Maci Bookout, who apparently has no interest in forgiving Ryan Edwards for his many misdeeds.
Maci Bookout is admired by Teen Mom fans for her no-nonsense approach to both fame and parenting.
Widely regarded as one of the most "down to earth" reality stars on MTV, Maci is certainly well-off, but she seems to have kept in touch with her roots better than most folks who achieve fame at an early age.
A new season of Teen Mom OG is almost upon us, which means that fans will finally be thoroughly updated on how the Moms and their families are coping with the Covid crisis.
Sure, there's social media, but many reality stars are highly selective regarding which aspects of their lives they choose to online.
These days, Ryan Edwards is sober after a long, painful battle with addiction.
Of course, he's now learning that lesson that all recovering addicts learn eventually -- not all of his problems were caused by substance abuse.
We don't talk about Maci Bokout as much as some of the other Teen Moms.
The reason, of course, is that Maci's life is relatively scandal-free, and when there is some controversy in her inner circle, it usually involves Ryan Edwards, whom Maci had the good sense to part ways with years ago.

It's been several months since Teen Mom OG star Ryan Edwards got sober following numerous stints in rehab.
But while he was thankfully able to free himself from the addiction that threatened to claim his life, sobriety certainly hasn't solved all of Ryan's problems.
Maci Bookout really wants you to check her out.

Reality stars are unlike other celebrities in a number of important ways.
Whereas some entertainers work their whole lives to master their craft and attain fame, reality folks are plucked from obscurity in a way that's more akin to winning the lottery.
Now that Chelsea Houska is leaving Teen Mom 2, Maci Bookout might replace her as the most boring member of the franchise.
And believe it or not, that's a compliment.
In some ways, Ryan Edwards' life has improved tremendously over the course of the past year.
Edwards was last arrested in April of 2019, but he hasn't been in trouble with the law since.
The stars of the Teen Mom franchise were discovered in small towns all over America, plucked from obscurity, and thrust into overnight fame.
So perhaps it's not surprising that most of them have undergone cosmetic procedures in order to correct their "flaws" and "perfect" their appearances.
Posting sponsored content on social media has become a popular way for reality stars to supplement their TV incomes.
When the partnership is a good match, and both parties are on the same page with regard to their goals and intentions, it can lead to an arrangement that benefits not only the star, but also the star's followers, who are, ideally, being directed toward content the star has personally approved.
Numerous public figures have lost jobs and lucrative endorsement deals in recent weeks as a result of culturally insensitive comments from their past.
Now, it looks as though Maci Bookout's husband, Taylor McKinney, might be next on the chopping block.
