An apparently topless Rihanna showed off her long blonde hair on Twitter last night. She's rocked everything from massive red curls to a platinum bob with blunt bangs in the past couple of months. Now, she's debuted yet another dramatic 'do.

Which really looks good with no shirt:

The 23-year-old singer tweeted the pic of herself sporting a long, layered blonde style (and not much else!) along with the following message: "#Back2Work 1st Cover of the year!!! #ELLE," followed by "Bleach + weave #WERQ."

Later that night she sat courtside at L.A.'s Staples Center to watch the Clippers (bet you didn't hear THAT three years ago) beat the Nuggets, turning heads with her new locks.

R must be a big Tupac fan, because she just had the words the late rapper immortalized emblazoned on her hands. The 23-year-old pop superstar hit up an LA tattoo parlor yesterday to get her ink on, as she showed us in the below Twitter pic.

Pretty bad ass tat. The t-shirt she was wearing while she got the work done? A vintage one featuring John Lennon's face. Totally thuggin' it hardcore there.

Fueling rumors that they are getting back together, or at least hooking up with each other again, Rihanna and Chris Brown partied at the same club last night.

The two singers, who have been the subject of so much speculation lately, left Greystone Manor, a West Hollywood club, in separate cars, around the same time.

It's unclear if they came together or headed to the same place after, but Rihanna and Chris Brown were ... there at the same time. Make of that what you will.

Again, we emphasize that several people who were at the club Tweeted that as far as they could see, Rihanna and Chris were there with separate groups.

The protective order, which required that the Grammy nominees have no contact with each other after Brown beat Rihanna in 2009, was lifted a year ago.

They've also exchanged not-so-subtle Tweets lately, so wouldn't be at all scandalous, let alone illegal if they were there together. Let the gossip continue ...

Should Rihanna and Chris Brown get back together?

UPDATE: According to Chris' rep, the singer was only interested in one girl at the club... and that was Karrueche Tran. Brown's girlfriend. So there's that.

Chris Brown and Rihanna have in fact been hooking up on the sly again recently, but they aren't considering a full-fledged reconciliation, according to a new report.

"They've probably hooked up no more than half a dozen times in the past year. It's unlikely Rihanna and Chris would ever get back together though,” a source said.

“Rihanna doesn't care if she were to get public backlash if they were to reconcile," the insider adds. "But, she is the one calling the shots now, which she likes."

Therein lies her reluctance: "Rihanna knows that if they were to get back together, she wouldn't be able to maintain that strong role, and Chris would lose interest."

It has nothing to do with his infamous attack on her, in other words, but simply that "they are both very young, Rihanna likes being in control now, and would never be able to trust Chris because he has problems staying faithful."

Apparently. Sorry, Karrueche Tran.

Rumors have swirled about Rihanna and Chris Brown in recent weeks, and both stars are expected to be on hand when the Grammys are handed out February 12.

Brown is nominated for three Grammys: Best R & B Album, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song. Rihanna will perform with Coldplay at the show.

Plenty of people wish that Chris and Rihanna would give it another go, in spite of all that went on between them - Brown's mom Joyce Hawkins included!

"Joyce LOVES Rihanna, and she often calls her the daughter that she never had but always wanted," the insider claims. "Joyce would love for Chris and Rihanna to continue to spend time together, and maybe down the line, get back together.”

Rihanna and Coldplay will perform together at next month's Grammy Awards.

The pop star, who is nominated for four Grammys including album of the year for Loud, tweeted the news to her followers Wednesday, calling it "BONKERS."

Coldplay is up for three awards. It's unclear what song the two will perform together, but they collaborated recently on Coldplay's "Princess of China" ...

While it's been reported that Rihanna and Chris Brown are hooking up again, that's far from confirmed ... but they are both expected at the Grammys.

Legendary Beatles frontman Paul McCartney was announced Thursday by The Recording Academy as another performer on the February 12 broadcast.

NCIS: Los Angeles star LL Cool J will host the annual music extravaganza, which will be broadcast on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Earlier today, we reported that Rihanna and Chris Brown are hooking up ... according to one tabloid. Well, there's a new twist, and its name is Karrueche Tran.

Us Weekly claims Brown, 22, and Rihanna, 23, have been hooking up in secret for nearly a year, despite his present relationship with model Tran, also 23.

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran were spotted together as recently as January 12, when he escorted his love to a hair appointment in Pasadena, Calif.

If Rihanna's driving a wedge between them, they're not showing it. Publicly.

Still, Tran is fully aware of his cheating, Us swears, and suspects she knows the locale: "Karrueche thinks Chris' studio is where most of the hookups take place."

She's determined to hang onto Brown despite the presence of the "We Found Love" singer. According to a source, Tran "won't give him up for a few discretions."

Warns the first insider: "Chris is a really passionate guy. He's still a hothead and he does what he wants. He'll go off the grid and she'll wonder what's going on."

"But, at the moment Chris and Karrueche are still a couple."

Take this with a grain of salt, because the source has been less than reliable lately, but a new report in Us Weekly claims Rihanna and Chris Brown are hooking up!

With February 8 marking the three-year anniversary of Chris' infamous assault of his then-girlfriend, relations between the two have definitely thawed since.

They've been exchanging not-so-secret Tweets and rumors suggest that Rihanna may really want him back. But Us takes it a step further with this claim:

Rihanna and Brown are secretly hooking up - and have been for some time!

The edgy, platinum-selling "We Found Love" singer and Brown "meet up very casually," a Brown confidante says. "She comes to see him anytime she's in L.A."

"They can't get enough of each other. I don't see it ending well. Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that."

Somehow we're not buying it.

Chris lays low for the most part, but Rihanna is photographed EVERYWHERE she goes and is enormously busy to boot. It would be pretty hard to pull that off.

Chris is also dating Karrueche Tran. Details. "He and Rihanna are just friends," Brown's rep says. "He's not cheating." Ri's rep, meanwhile, had no comment.

Regardless of this report ... SHOULD they get back together?

Rihanna chilled out with what appeared to be either a joint or a hand-rolled cigarette while vacationing in Hawaii on Sunday, according to these hot new photos.

Whatever she was smokin' with her wavy hair cascading over her high forehead, Rihanna's clad in black leggings and a pink top, looking mellow as can be.

The 23-year-old tweeted, "Kush rolled, glass full... I prefer the better things," quoting the lyrics from her pal Drake's marijuana-inspired song, "Up All Night."

Kush is a name for a high-grade strand of marijuana. It's possible she was just channeling her inner Drake and wasn't puffing on it here, however.

We don't know. Or judge. Maybe she's just high ... on life?

Katy Perry is trying to stay out of the limelight as her divorce drama blows over. Lady Gaga was no doubt off performing and shutting it down elsewhere.

Rihanna won the People's Choice Award for "Favorite R&B Artist" yet sat a few hundred yards away. Was she wrong to bail on the show just to kick it?

Eh, not really. The People's Choice Awards are pointless.
