Rihanna and J.R. Smith: Dating?!
Move over, Darren McFadden. According to reports, Rihanna is turning her attention over to another random athlete in the New York Knicks' J.R. Smith.
Sources tell In Touch that the two are a thing. A fake thing, probably, but good enough for 2-3 hours of celebrity gossip before she denies it on Twitter.
The two were spotted, allegedly, getting cozy at Veranda nightclub in NYC.
“They were very flirty in the club all night and holding hands,” an eyewitness tells the magazine. “She was sitting on his lap and was really into him.”
How serious is it? Not very. But those who know the wild child say she's attracted to bad boys like J.R., who's no stranger to raising eyebrows himself.
J.R. Smith, 26, made headlines in March when he was fined $25,000 by the NBA after tweeting a pic of a woman’s ass in a thong from his bed. Classy.
“He is the team’s most controversial player, so it’s no wonder that Rihanna likes him,” says a source. In the past, the singer has said of her "type":
“I definitely like high-risk guys. I don’t like cream puff, corny guys… the nice ones that won’t hurt you. I like the edge. That’s the thrill for me.”

The 24-year-old, in behind-the-scenes photos from the set of her "Where Have You Been" music video, is completely topless. Nothing unusual.
Her breasts are covered by reptile scales, though. That's unusual ...
In the video, Rihanna and a slew of shirtless men adventure through a swamp, which good explain the reptilian theme for part of the extravagant effort.
The star's latest topless shot isn't the first time she's left little to the imagination ... this month. Not even two weeks ago, she was grinding at a strip club.
She also took her top off in Hawaii, played with white powder on her bodyguard's head, etc. There's a reason she's Top 10 worldwide in Twitter fans.
One cautionary note, though. Why would Hugh Hefner want to pay $1 million for Rihanna in Playboy if she's already giving it away for free 24/7?
Think about it, Rih. Leave 'em wanting more.
Chris Brown "Theraflu" Remix: A Swipe at Rihanna?
Chris Brown has released a remixed, freestyle rap version of Kanye West's "Theraflu" that appears to contain a major swipe at ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The R&B singer, who collaborated with Rih earlier this year, raps, "Don't f--k wit my old bitches ... like a bad fur ... every industry n!gga done had her."
"Trick or treat like a pumpkin ... just to smash her."

Hours after Brown released the track, Rihanna stopped following Brown on Twitter, a move fueling peculation that the above lyrics are about her.
A short time later, Brown unfollowed Rihanna.
The two have been rumored to be hitting it for some time, despite his assault on her in 2009 ... but he's also been dating Karrueche Tran.

Rihanna Nude in Playboy: Possibly Coming Soon!
Pop star Rihanna has been offered over $1 million to pose naked for Playboy, according to MTV UK. Whether it actually happens is another story.
According to site, Playboy CEO Hugh Hefner is keen for Rihanna to shed her clothes for his iconic publication and is said to have made a secret offer.
A big offer. Lindsay Lohan-sized.
MTV cites anonymous sources claiming Rihanna is interested in posing nude for the men's magazine, but is concerned how her fan base will react.
Something hasn't seemed to bother her when it comes to remixes with Chris Brown, or Tweeting pics of obvious drug use, or anything for that matter.
Fans also love her slightly reckless, eff-the-world antics. Just saying.
"Rihanna and Hef are in top secret discussions at the moment. He sees Rihanna as the best music star to have on the cover," a source says.
“Rihanna has got naked many times before and is very self-assured about her body. She already Tweets topless photos and doesn't get paid for it. Here she would be earning more than a million for exactly the same thing.”
Rihanna and Darren McFadden: New Couple Alert?
Are Rihanna and Darren McFadden of the NFL's Oakland Raiders dating?
The singer made no secret of their connection during a late-April trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, during which she also promoted her film, Battleship.
The question is whether it's a real relationship or just a typical fling.
In any case, it sounds like the two hit it off quite nicely there.
“Rihanna rushed into the ocean, but Darren had to be coaxed,” an onlooker reveals. “She kept calling his name, and at one point, she discreetly flashed him. That did the trick."
"He ran into the water, and they started kissing.”
While they’ve only been "dating" a few weeks, the couple was spotted holding hands in the lobby of their hotel, The Kahala Hotel & Resort.
Later, they were dancing at a club and cuddling in a lounge chair.
But a source also added that there could be other motivations ... like getting inside Chris Brown's head: “She’s using Darren to make him jealous.”
On May 2, she made a point of wearing a Raiders shirt to a strip club, then she tweeted numerous pictures in the hopes that Chris would see.

Rihanna Twitpics: The Weirdest Batch Yet?
Rihanna has become infamous for her Twitpics and Instagram uploads in recent months, but her latest set is strange even by her high standards.
If you thought she couldn't top grinding with strippers or sitting on her bodyguard's shoulders playing with white powder on his head, think again.
Wednesday morning she uploaded this one. When someone asked where she's been as "You been quiet all day", Rihanna replied with this pic:
Yup, her arm with an IV attached. No other comment or caption.
It's definitely her arm, too, because the elaborate nail painting job that she got before attending the Met Gala on Monday was still on display.
Said manicure, for what it's worth, meant she was late to the event, missing her slot on the red carpet and infuriating Vogue's Anna Wintour.
A few hours after posting the IV picture she uploaded a pic of herself by a plane with the caption, "My ride home NY days LA nights #itwuzreal."
This implies she's not in hospital ... or at least she's not anymore.
Not that this is her first IV Twitpic. In November she tweeted a similar picture after being hospitalized with severe exhaustion in Sweden.
Is she exhausted again? It's not unlikely. Girl goes hard.
The Wanted to Rihanna: Collaborate With Us!
The Wanted might not have warmed to Christina Aguilera, or Britney Spears for that matter, but Rihanna is one star they'd love to meet/work with.
In an interview with Capital FM, the boy band continued their recent trend of weighing in on female pop stars by confessing their love for Rihanna.
The group praised RiRi's collaboration with Coldplay and say they feel she could really bring "that Bajan side" to the band in a joint effort.
Tom Parker told the radio station: "I think that Rihanna would be a really good one for us. I think the one she did with Coldplay, 'Princess Of China' was so good and really brought a different side to Coldplay which I really, really liked."
"So maybe she can bring a little Barbadian... that Bajan side to The Wanted."
The "Glad You Came" stars just might get their chance too, because recent reports claimed Rihanna will be moving to London for three months.
If true, The Wanted may have to fight Dudley O'Shaughnessy for her.

Rihanna to Perform on American Idol Finale
Rihanna will perform her latest new hit single “Where Have You Been” on the American Idol season finale Wednesday, May 23, Fox has confirmed.
The newest winner will be crowned that night, with the two remaining finalists duking it out in live performances a day earlier, Tuesday, May 22.
With only three performance shows left this spring, Hollie Cavanagh, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez are still vying for the title.

Rihanna to Chris Brown: Happy Birthday!
So Chris Brown's 23rd birthday was Saturday, and none other than Rihanna was quick to wish him a happy birthday on Twitter! HUGE news, we know!
RiRi, who has controversially collaborated with Brown on a couple of hot tracks this spring, tweeted her former BF this: "Happy Birthday @chrisbrown."
Yeah. That's it. Not a lot to it really.
