A few weeks after son Max was finally sent home from the hospital (he had remained there due to low birth weight issues), Charlie Sheen showed off his new, adorable family for celebrity gossip tabloid In Touch Weekly.

The Two and a Half Men star and wife Brooke Mueller are seen below with Max and his twin brother Bob. We can only imagine what daddy is whispering to his sons in the photo on the right...

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller can finally rest easy.

Baby Max has been sent home to join his parents and twin brother Bob, a spokesman for the actor said today.

The newborn had remained in the hospital due to birth-weight-related issues, Sheen's rep, Stan Rosenfield, announcer earlier this month.

But Rosenfield has confirmed that the infant, born March 14, was released several days ago.

"Premature babies are often underweight. Max made weight and went home," Rosenfield said. "It's frustrating to be a parent and not have your family home with you. This is the last week of Two and a Half Men [which is going on hiatus], so Charlie and Brooke will be able to spend some quality time with their kids."

Sad news for Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen.

The couple's new twin son, Max, has remained hospitalized since his March 14 birth.

"Charlie and Brooke's infant son remains in the hospital, not because of a heart condition as reported, but because he has not gained the weight necessary to leave hospital," Sheen's rep, Stan Rosenfield, told Us Weekly, adding:

"Max is expected to reach the weight requirement shortly and will join his brother [Bob] at home. The Sheens appreciate the outpouring of concern but have assured everyone that both Bob and Max are fine."

We wish the best for Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen and their sons!

If this keeps up, Charlie Sheen will have more kids than he does funny Two and a Half Men quotes! Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, gave birth to healthy twin sons, Max and Bob, on Saturday night, according to the actor's spokesman.

Brooke, who married Charlie in May 2008 and announced she was expecting in August, had been hospitalized in February with premature contractions.

The baby boys are the couple's first children together.

Charlie Sheen has three daughters: Cassandra, 24, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt; and Sam, 5, and Lola, 3, with his crazy ex-wife Denise Richards.

The boys are the first kids for Brooke Mueller.

"Brooke and Charlie are expecting twins, and they are so excited," Moira Fiore, Brooke's mother, told People Magazine. “Obviously, I am floating on air.”

Fiore added that the couple "think the twins are boys," but aren't sure. It's unclear where that notion even came from.

"Brooke has had all day morning sickness but is coming to the end of the first trimester so she hopefully will feel better soon," said Fiore of her 31-year-old daughter. "It has been rough for her."

Charlie Sheen recently told Extra that knocked up wife Brooke Mueller has strange cravings during her pregnancy.

“She came to the outdoor kitchen the other night with a jar of pickles," Sheen said. "That was followed by ice-cream,” as Mueller herself added that she eats “cheese and crackers, pistachios. Everything.”

The actor and wife Brooke Mueller are reportedly expecting a baby. It would be the third child for Sheen (he has to two daughters with Satanic ex-wife Denise Richards) and the first for Mueler.

“They are so happy and excited,“ an insider told In Touch Weekly. “They are in love, and this news makes things even better.”

Will the third marriage be the charm for Charlie Sheen? The troubled actor certainly hopes so, as he walked down the aisle with Brooke Mueller last week.

The couple has landed on the cover of OK! magazine as a result. Here's a bit of what Sheen had to say in the publication's interview:

How difficult was it hearing the comments your ex-wife Denise Richards made in the media on the eve of your wedding? I'm so tired of talking about her and all her shenanigans. It is what it is. I don't even care anymore. I'm going to take a stand to basically never utter her name publicly again, and I think if that's known, it will put an end to some of the drama.

How does it feel to be married? It feels great. We were so excited when we got home we couldn't go to sleep. [There was] a lot of adrenaline and excitement.

As ex-wife Denise Richards exploits her children for fame and fortune, Charlie Sheen says he and his new bride are planning to have kids themselves.

"It's just not happening as we speak," Sheen said of rumors that Brooke Mueller was already knocked up, insinuating that kids are part of the plan for these newlyweds.

And just how many little ones will this couple churn out?

"Hopefully triplets!" said Mueller. "Could you imagine if I really had triplets? He'd be like, 'Whoa!'"

Considering the past indiscretions of Sheen - which include high-priced call girls and a rumored addiction to pornography - we'd all be like "Whoa!" if the world was faced with three more of his offspring.
