“The Situation has mass appeal.” - The Situation

The Season 11 cast of Dancing With the Stars was just announced and despite having little time to prepare, Jersey Shore's Mike Sorrentino isn't worried.

Because he’s still filming the MTV show, he’s not going to rehearse for a week. But being the underdog is a situation that doesn't bother The Situation.

“I’m going to lose a couple days practice,” Sorrentino says. “But I don’t mind being the underdog. I promise to try my hardest and practice as much as I can and be the best I can be. I hope Situation Nation shows up to support me.”

That includes his Jersey Shore co-stars.

Bethenny Frankel is out.

The reality TV star has made it clear in a new statement: she's walking away from The Real Housewives of New York City.

“Last season was scary and painful," she told Us Weekly, explaining why she turned down a fourth season from Bravo. “It took all of the joy out of it.”

Bethenny getting another run on The Real Housewives of New York City? Not in the plans.

With a new husband and daughter, Frankel says she "doesn't see any reason to go back."

It probably helps that Bethenny's spin-off series, Bethenny Getting Married?, attracted more than two million viewers for its June premiere, the highest-rated debut for a new Bravo show.

A network insider hopes Frankel does return for a cameo here and there - but don't count on it, readers: "My gut’s saying not to be part of this cast," she says.

Snooki is not the marrying type. At least not right now.

Sorry, Jeff Miranda. Her new boyfriend popped the question on the cover of Steppin' Out magazine, as we showed you, with a "Will You Marry Me?" headline.

The proposal prompted the 22-year-old Jersey Shore "guidette" to Twitter: "Just want to set the record straight. I'm single and I'm not going to get married!"

She has been "with" Jeff Miranda for two weeks after meeting at - where else? - a club. Previously, she dated gorilla juicehead extraordinaire Emilio Masella.

"We hit it off really good," he said. "Nicole is actually really cute and sweet and seems like a cool a$$ person, even though she's drunk most of the time."

Summed up so well. No comment yet on his proposal being nixed.

LeBron James wants a judge to b!tch slap the lawsuit filed by the dude who claims to be his dad even harder than he did the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers.

Sorry, that was rude. THG NOTE: We are not actually sorry.

This summer, just before LeBron's eye-gouging The Decision special, Leicester Bryce Stovell filed a $4 million lawsuit against LeBron and Gloria James.

We are all witnesses, all right. To a bogus lawsuit. And a d!ck move.

He alleges the NBA star and his mom committed fraud and defamation. LeBron and Gloria want a judge to dismiss the suit, labeling it "rank speculation."

According to legal documents, LeBron's lawyers scoffed at Stovell, who claims that as a 29-year-old lawyer, he got Gloria, then 15, pregnant with LeBron.

The bad news is that the style looks terrible on her. The good news? She doesn't need to hold her flowing locks back the next she does... this.

Krisily Kennedy says she got screwed Monday on ABC's Bachelor Pad. Figuratively, of course. And yes, her name is actually Krisily ... you read that correctly.

Along with Wes Hayden, the former Miss Rhode Island (2003) and Bachelor runner-up (Charlie O'Connell's season) was sent home last night - and was pissed.

Dave Good had urged Krisily to vote off Wes in return for her safety. His alliance was targeting Gwen (Age: ??) instead. But that's not how it all went down.

Krisily's fate was sealed when Kiptyn Locke said he could not send Gwen home for unknown reasons and preferred Krisily. The other two caved and she was toast.

At the last minute, they voted against Krisily.

"I am just angry," she announced after her name was called. "I was told one thing and voted and put my faith in some people who clearly weren't there for me."

Danielle Staub was almost attacked by Teresa Guidance on last night's Real Housewives reunion special.

But physical assault is actually the least of Staub's problems these days: she might find herself in financial ruin if Kevin Maher gets his way.

The certified nut job is being sued by her ex for $5 million because he says her recent allegations - such as him raping her on a bed of broken glass - have defamed his character. In response, Staub filed documents this week that aim to get Maher's lawsuit thrown out.

Now, Maher has once again laid into Danielle. He tells Zap2It that her motion to bring up his actions from two decades ago (as evidence that his reputation can't be tarnished any further) is pure "BS," adding:

Over the last couple of years, Usher has had a few hits ("OMG," the discovery of Justin Bieber) and one noticeable miss: Tameka Foster.

Following a couple years and a couple sons together, she and the artist got divorced last summer. Asked about the relationship, Usher tells the latest issue of People: "I love her as the mother of my children... we're two different people and we have two different goals. It just was never going to work out 100 percent."

He then touched on a few other topics, as the interview is excerpted below:

On raising his sons:
"Usher [V] is always in everything. He's an instigator. He's the one who leads his brother astray. I was like that when I was his age... if one gets in trouble, the other one does, too. They both have a lot of energy. They can wear me out."

In her first TV interview since her divorce from Jesse James, Sandra Bullock said on Today that things happen for a reason and she's looking forward, not back.

The Oscar winner spoke to Matt Lauer about her work New Orleans' Warren Easton Charter High School and the finalization of her adoption of baby son Louis.

She calls the lil' fella her "little Cajun cookie."

Sandra Bullock helps open a school in her son's hometown.

"Everything works out the way the universe wants it to work out," said Bullock, who was on hand to open the new student health center she helped fund.

Of the child she and James planned to adopt (she took over raising Louis solo after the couple split, she said, "We had always said it didn't matter where the child came from. If they had issues that were medical issues, we didn't care."

"The child that needed us is the child that's going to be placed."
