Despite the kind of hype most reality shows can only dream of, Caitlyn Jenner’s E! network series, I Am Cait, debuted to weak ratings last month, and the audience has continued to dwindle in the weeks that followed.

As the show’s ratings plummet, Caitlyn is reportedly becoming desperate to save herself from the embarrassment of cancelation.

Now, as a last-ditch effort, sources say she’s climbing back into bed (so to speak) with her biggest rival.

As anyone who’s watched the show or read Cait’s famous Vanity Fair piece knows, the feud between Caitlyn and Kris Jenner shows no signs of abating, but both women are members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan first and foremost, which means they’re willing to put their differences aside when there’s money to be made.

As such, Radar Online is reporting that Kris has stepped in to help rescue I Am Cait from the brink of cancelation by anchoring it to a more popular property – her own.

“I Am Cait is losing viewers every week," says one insider. “So E! has decided that for the second season, it will air after Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

Yes, it seems that I Am Cait can only hope to survive with the benefit of a strong lead-in like KUWTK. As you might’ve guessed, Caitlyn is less than thrilled to be jumping back on board with the Kards, particularly since the partnership was reportedly Kris’ idea.

“Caitlyn isn’t happy that once again, she will be dependent on the Kardashians for success, and she absolutely hates losing to Kris," the source says.

“Kris has been telling producers at E!, that if she had been involved with I Am Cait from the beginning, it would have been a hit.”

It helps if you imagine Kris saying that while laughing haughtily and stroking a Siamese cat like some sort of Bond villain.
