Kelly Clarkson wants a baby. ASAP. Two babies, actually. Adele, however, has advised her fellow songbird to hold her horses. Or her ovaries. You know, whichever.

Adele apparently told Kelly "Girl, don't have a baby, 'cause everything else will go on the back burner! I'm living in babyland!" while the two chatted at the Grammys this year.

Kelly, who married music manager Brandon Blackstock in October, says she's ready for a family. In fact, they are trying like rabbits to make it happen.

"Brandon has two kids and I want two more!" the original American Idol said in an interview with the Daily Mail (UK). "My eggs aren't getting young!"

Kelly Clarkson gets fun and personal in the official music for the track "Tie It Up."

The artist - who is engaged to Brandon Blackstock and who looks downright gorgeous in this engagement photo - plays a wedding singer in the video, bopping around on stage while couples exchange vows and celebrate the monumental occasion in front of her.

Yes, a few of these couples share the same sex.

Will this generate some controversy? Most likely. But kudos to Kelly for simply not caring. Watch now:

This just in: Kelly Clarkson is still totally talented and awesome.

During a recent concert stop, the original American Idol - who is reportedly in the running for a judging spot on that show in 2014 - covered Mumford & Sons' mega hit "I Will Wait."

And if she didn't outdo the initial version, she at the very least made its creator awfully proud.

Watch and listen to Clarkson do her thing now and then listen to her new country track "Tie It Up." Is there anything this woman can't do?!?

Look out, country music world. Here comes Kelly Clarkson!

The pop superstar placed her foot squarely in the country music world over the weekend at the CMA Festival in Nashville, debuting the track "Tie It Up" and telling the audience:

“I’ve been nervous all day because I wanted to be good for you!”

Did the original American Idol have cause to be concerned? Listen to the song now and decide for yourself:

She may be judging American Idol next season...

... but she's definitely here with a new music video!

The 31-year old superstar disguises herself as a scientist in the video for "People Like Us," as she tries to help a young woman held captive.

The single is the third and final song off Kelly's greatest hits album and you should press Play now:

As previously reported, Jennifer Hudson has signed on as a judge for American Idol 13 and sources say Clarkson will be next.

They will be joined by either Clay Aiken or Adam Lambert.

On last night's American Idol results show, viewers were treated to the past, present and future.

Lazaro Arbos, for example, is now a distant memory, following an unexpected run to the final six.

Candice Glover, Janelle Arthur, Amber Holcomb, Kree Harrison and Angela Miller are the future, competing to see who will be crowned Season 12 champion.

And Kelly Clarkson? Well, she's all three, really. But in the present, she's the shining example of all every contestant wants to be: successful, funny, cool, talented... successful.

Watch as she returned Thursday to the stage that made her famous and performed "People Like Us."

She's a little pop and, also, a little country.

And Kelly Clarkson proved herself as the latter last night, taking the Academy of Country Music Awards stage for a performance of "Don't Rush."

Clarkson arrived at the event with royalty from this genre, walking the red carpet with future mother-in-law Reba McEntire, the stepmom of fiance Brandon Blackstock.

Watch Kelly then prove she belongs with this performance:

Also Sunday night, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban teamed up for "Highway Don't Care."

Clive Davis is bisexual. The uber producer makes this admission in his new memoir, "The Soundtrack of My Life."

But that revelation isn't the focus of a new Kelly Clarkson rant, in which the singer reacts to passages in the book with anger and authority.

Kelly Clarkson in Ireland

"Clive Davis is… spreading false information about me and my music," Clarkson wrote in a post on her WhoSay blog. "I refuse to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation for myself and for my fans. It feels like a violation. Growing up is awesome because you learn you don't have to cower to anyone - even Clive Davis."
