Yesterday it was announced that Kate Middleton is pregnant with Royal Baby #2. For real! No tabloid rumors this time! Finally, we can put all that speculation to rest.

The third in line for the throne will be gracing us in 2015, but before this baby's arrival, mother Kate Middleton's baby bump will be gracing the world with some maternity fashion.

Blazer of Glory
This trim blazer perfectly highlighted Kate Middleton's baby bump during her pregnancy with Prince George.

Kate Middleton has become quite the style icon, before and during her tenure as Duchess of Cambridge, and her first pregnancy was no exception.

While she was carrying Prince George, maternity retailers routinely sold out of fashions identical and similar to Kate's. And for good reason.

The stunning Duchess of Cambridge, a.k.a. Kate Middleton, wasn't just named to Vanity Fair's Best-Dressed List, the annual who's who in couture.

She's made the magazine's prestigious Best-Dressed Hall of Fame.

Dubbed the “Royal Recycler” because of her propensity to reuse clothes regularity, that hasn't stopped her rise to mega global fashion icon status.

In fact, it may have only hastened it and broadened her appeal.

As you can see from her 29 best looks above (and even narrowing it down to a number that small was a challenge) Kate has earned her Hall of Fame induction.

With her feminine, head turning styles, even in the late stages of pregnancy and post-partum, and from high fashion to middle class staples, nothing looks bad on her.

Nothing.

There are people who make Best-Dressed lists, and there is the woman who has become synonymous with "Best Dressed." The one you picture when you hear that.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and our style preferences are obviously subjective, but Prince William's wife is in a class by herself in our view.

Scroll through some of her great looks through the years above, and as a bonus, some Kate Middleton photos that would make the best undressed list ...

Let's be honest: there are Best Dressed lists in Hollywood.

And then there's the Best Dressed list in Hollywood.

Who was stylish enough to land a spot on the latter?

Vanity Fair just came out with the 2014 International Best-Dressed countdown - and it includes a couple Oscar winners, a New York Giants wide receiver and, of course, the Duchess of Cambridge.

In fact, having appeared four straight years on the list, Kate Middleton has been inducted into Vanity Fair's Hall of Fame (along with fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld).

Pay tribute to the brunette beauty and to the other fashion icons that made the cut now:

Kate Middleton loves her Stuart Weitzman "Corkswoon" wedges, and the Duchess has proven the footwear is not a hindrance to athletic activity.

We've seen her play volleyball in them before, and this week, Kate showed us that she can dominate at three tins while rocking the sky-high shoes.

While looking amazing, as evidenced by this awesome GIF:

Perhaps this will put an end to the incessant Kate Middleton pregnant talk?

Probably not for more than a week or two, but still. She's not, people!

In a cerulean Stella McCartney dress with her favorite navy blazer, Prince William's wife was a hit at a reception in Glasgow, Scotland at the Commonwealth Games.

The traditional game involves knocking down three tins with a ball, running into the middle of the square, rebuilding them, and hopping over the tins three times.

Middleton's husband William and her brother-in-law Prince Harry later tackled the same game against one another, but Kate stole the show as always.

One is Royalty. The other is royally annoying.

But both couples have graced the cover of national magazines over the past few months.

First, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West posed for Vogue, making the former's dreams come true and hopefully making her realize that she needs to get new dreams.

Then, just this week, Kate Middleton and Prince William (along with little Prince George!) were featured on the cover of Vanity Fair, a first for the very famous couple.

Which photo do you prefer? Which couple's cover looks classiest? Compare. Contrast. And decide now:

And the Winner is?

For a royal appearance on behalf of Britain's bid for the America's Cup 2017 at London's National Maritime Museum, Kate Middleton looked the stunning part.

Donning a nautical black and white Jaeger dress featuring contrasting trim along the neckline, arms and waistband, the 32-year-old was a vision of summer.

We can officially put those Kate Middleton pregnant rumors to rest, too:

In addition to meeting and greeting the members of the country's sailing team, Kate Middleton chatted with Olympic gold medalist Sir Ben Ainslie, 37.

"She was asking lots of technical questions; she knew her stuff," the sailor said. "We were all sharing sailing stories, and I think her sailing comes from her family."

Ainslie didn't elaborate won hether Middleton relayed the tale of how she beat husband Prince William in sailing during their April 2014 tour of Australia.

He did express his gratitude for having the Duchess' support.

Kate Middleton has apparently been instructed by Her Royal Majesty herself, Queen Elizabeth II, to wear longer skirts. Yes, this is a real thing that happened.

Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl reports in the Mail on Sunday (via Vanity Fair) that the Queen has issued some directives as to how Kate should dress.

This applies to when she tours Australia in April, not on a daily basis or anything ... but still, expect longer skirts in April's Kate Middleton photos.

As per the Queen's request, the hemlines will be longer, the jewelry will be bolder, and there will be more tiaras than you can count. Sounds awesome?

In order to execute this “subtle but significant regal makeover,” as the Mail calls it, the Queen tasked her personal dresser, Angela Kelly, with preparing Kate.

The overhaul will see Kate wearing couture daytime dresses with “lower hemlines” than she typically goes for, as well as tiaras and “statement jewelry.”

Kate Middleton and Prince William wearing J. Crew clothes? Here's your visual, in honor of the retailer's London expansion and courtesy of Bloomberg Businessweek.

Kate Middleton, Prince William Cover

Prince William and Kate Middleton aren't actually "wearing" the brand's clothing, of course, but a mockup was created imagining just that scenario.

Kinda corny and a shameless attempt to sell magazines and build web buzz? You bet. But it worked, and it's hard to blame Bloomberg in a sense.

It's J. Crew! And Kate Middleton! How can you go wrong?

After all, this is what Michelle Obama, her girls and millions of others swear by, and we gotta say, Kate looks great in one of America's signature aesthetics.

Also, there's this GIF of the cover, which is awesome ...

How is it possible that Kate Middleton is always so polished and poised, even when the wind is threatening to expose her backside to the world?

While attending a charity engagement in Canary Wharf, Middleton stopped to speak to St. Edmunds School student Tierney Potter, who had brought the Duchess of Cambridge flowers. When the wind caught Middleton's navy Orla Kiely skirt, she held it in place without missing a beat.

Potter "was nervous but excited" to meet Middleton. "The Duchess said she wanted to say hello to the rest of the class, so I took her inside."

Kate Middleton's post-baby body is thinner than ever, as you can clearly see in this photo taken Thursday, which is London Poppy Day. What is her secret?!

With Prince William at her side, the Duchess greeted staff at volunteers at Kensington Palace in London in a long red coat that was belted at the waist.

The outfit emphasized her svelte, slim frame, which is obviously back to its pre-baby shape less than four months after she gave birth to Prince George:

  • Kate Middleton Hair, Smile

For the event, they rode a 1960s-era Routemaster bus, chatting with actress Barbara Windsor and folks from the Royal British Legion Poppy Day Appeal.

We have no idea what that means, but man, Kate Middleton is pretty!

The royal couple's social calendar is filling up fast. They will host a wonderland gala (featuring Taylor Swift!) for homeless charity Centrepoint November 26.
