Kate Middleton Surprises Again With Emerald Gown
Kate Middleton has officially stepped outside of her fashion comfort zone!
In London Friday, the Duchess of Cambridge worked the red carpet at the BOA Olympic Concert dress in a stunning emerald Jenny Packham pleated gown.
The design, which featured a low-cut neckline and a sheer, lace back, is accented with a crystal-adorned ribbon that cinched the royal's waist. Take a look:
The 30-year-old fashion icon paired the breathtaking dress with Jimmy Choo "Vamp" platform glitter sandals and a matching Jenny Packham bespoke clutch.
The more-revealing-than-normal number wasn't her only new look this week. Kate Middleton's dress earlier this week turned heads due to its slit up the leg.
Kate, who arrived hand-in-hand with her husband Prince William, wore her hair in an elaborate braided chignon that ensured the dress' sheer back was on display.
Another resounding style win, wouldn't you say? For many more of the fashionable royal's looks, follow the link for THG's gallery of Kate Middleton pics!

Kate Middleton "Racy" Dress Turns Heads
Kate Middleton raised eyebrows this week when she wore a dress much more risque than her royal fan base is used to ... relatively speaking of course.
An Angelina Jolie Oscar pose leg thrust, it was not, but the Duchess showed some regal thigh when she stepped out with hubby Prince William in London.
Attending a private dinner at the Thirty Club, Kate Middleton dazzled in a cream colored Roland Mouret gown which exposed a daring amount of leg:
The gorgeous dress, dubbed her raciest look since she came into the public eye, is still comparatively tame by most celebrity fashion standards.
The top was even more modest, featuring a high neck and long sleeves.
Her shoe selection - a pair of mile-high silver Jimmy Choo sandals that made her legs look endless - punctuated the look that had the whole UK buzzing.
With Kate's long, straight hair glowing and her dress hugging the curves of her slender frame ... William did well for himself. Let's just put it that way.

Happy Anniversary, Prince William & Kate Middleton!
The world's most famous newlyweds are no longer newlyweds.
It's hard to believe that a whole year has passed since Prince William and Kate Middleton became Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at London's Westminster Abbey.
The royal wedding was a spectacle unlike any other, and not simply because William is royalty: It's a celebrity news story that isn't the slightest bit negative!
Nary a harsh word is ever said about the couple, who the whole world is rooting for to succeed (while speculating over Kate's future pregnancy) 24/7/365.
A year after they declared their love for each other in front of an estimated two billion (!) viewers, they're keeping their first wedding anniversary private.
The Duke and Duchess were to spend part of the weekend with friends in London, then return to their home in Anglesey, on the Welsh coast, by Sunday.
So here's to William and Kate! Click to enlarge some of our favorite photos of the royal no-longer-newlyweds on this, their one-year wedding anniversary:
Prince William, Kate Middleton Shine at Movie Premiere
Prince William and Kate Middleton are back together and back on the red carpet. The royal couple, who are set to celebrate their first wedding anniversary Sunday, stepped out Wednesday for the London premiere of the Disney Nature film, African Cats.
Nothing could rain on their parade ... not even rain:
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, wore a tailored gray Matthew Williamson peplum dress with a jeweled turquoise hem to the event, which benefitted one of her husband's charitable causes, the Tusk Trust charity.
The film tells the story of a pride of lions and a family of cheetahs.
It's the first event for William and Kate since he returned from military service in the Falklands. She held her own, making several appearances solo in his absence.

Adele, Rihanna, Kate Middleton, Tim Tebow & Others Named to Time's Most Influential List
Time announced its 100 Most Influential people on the planet and a number of THG fan favorites earned places in the annual list. Which celebs were included?
Comedians Kristen Wiig, Louis C.K., Stephen Colbert and Chelsea Handler, to name just a few, along with your run-of-the-mill world leaders and the like.
Other celebs recognized include Adele, Claire Danes, Viola Davis, Matt Lauer, Tilda Swinton, Rihanna, Tim Tebow as well as Pippa and Kate Middleton.
And as they do every year, the weekly magazine asks other famous faces to share a few kind words about those being honored, which is pretty cool.
For instance, Pink notes that Adele "renews hope that the world I live in has good taste, that we occasionally come back to what's simple ... simply amazing."
Stella McCartney says Rihanna is "one of the coolest, hottest, most talented, most listened to, most impressive artists today, but she does it in her own stride."
Jeremy Lin, who also made the list, says of Tebow: "[Tim] is unashamed of his convictions and faith, and lives a life that consistently reflects his values."

Barbie Battle: Katniss vs. Kate!
These young women are markedly different, but both are such dolls.
Like Kate Middleton before her, The Hunger Games' Katniss Everdeen, as embodied by Jennifer Lawrence, has just been immortalized as a Barbie doll.
Barbie Katniss has more of a casual, rugged look - fitting, considering the maimed and bludgeoned tweens left in her wake as she fights for survival.
No point in getting blood stains on an Alexander McQueen dress, which Kate's likeness wears to perfection. Middleton wields a tiara, Katniss a bow and arrow!
Which Barbie would you rather own? Vote in our poll below!
Kate Middleton: Real or Wax?
Kate Middleton is not pregnant. Yet.
She is, however, getting the Maddam Tassauds treatment - Kate and Prince William are to be immortalized in the famous wax museum this month. Which got us thinking ... can you even tell one of the sculptures from the real thing?
Here's Kate Middleton in the beautiful dress her likeness will be preserved in. That's going to be one glamorous faux Kate ... or IS this already the wax figure?

Prince William and Kate Middleton "Ready For a Baby," Sources Insist
Their first royal wedding anniversary is on April 29.
They just shelved plans for a trip to Africa later this year.
Their friends are having kids, being in their late 20s/early 30s and all.
They're making family-friendly renovations to their home at Kensington.
All of this means absolutely nothing, but just the same, it's enough for many to assume that babies are on the brain for Kate Middleton and Prince William.
People's new cover story is devoted entirely to this topic, as a matter of fact.
The fast-approaching anniversary and Palace's recent sensitivity to the subject have led to a new round of Kate Middleton pregnancy rumors, and veteran royal watchers believe the couple is poised to start a family sooner rather than later.
When the time comes, "they are ready for a baby," an insider says.
Although they are unlikely to announce a pregnancy before the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration (marking 60 years on the throne) this summer, like any couple, "they will let nature and life take its course," adds a royal source.
In particular, watching their friends become parents "does help" boost William and Kate's decision to follow suit, a family insider says. So ... who's got November 15 in the Kate pregnancy announcement pool? Mark it down, baby.

Kate Middleton Pregnancy Rumors: Denied Again!
Prince William and Kate Middleton will mark their first wedding anniversary April 29, but don't expect them to be announcing any baby news then.
As Kate Middleton pregnancy rumors run rampant, again, an insider close to the couple confirms that the Duchess is not expecting a bundle of joy.
"Kate is not pregnant or about to make a pregnancy announcement," the royal insider explained of Middleton, who has been dogged by this for a year.
The most significant round of pregnancy rumors surfaced back in November when she refused peanut paste on a visit to Denmark. Turns out she was not pregnant.
Though there isn't any baby news, the royal couple does have something to celebrate. William is back from his six-week deployment off the coast of Argentina.
Shortly after Wills reunited with his bride, the duo headed off with her parents, Carole and Michael, and her siblings, James and Pippa Middleton, for a ski trip.
Says an eyewitness of the group, who opted to share the same chalet: "They looked very happy together." We would expect nothing less from the royals.

Angelina Jolie to Direct Kate Middleton Biopic?
Is Angelina Jolie thinking about producing, directing and/or even starring in a royal family biopic? With the lovely Kate Middleton as the centerpiece?
The leg-thrusting Oscar winner is apparently obsessed with the royal family, keeping a framed photo of William and Kate at her French chateau!
That's the rumor anyway, and her interest goes beyond simple admiration.
Bowled over by the royal couple's "kindness and sincerity," Angie is even thinking about trying to get a Kate Middleton biopic made, sources say.
"Angelina's fascinated by her and her wonderful aura," says an insider.
"She loves her look and common touch and says she and William radiate kindness and sincerity, something increasingly rare in this day and age."
Who would play William and Kate on film? Angelina does not seem like the best choice, actress-wise, though she might be fine as the director.
