Kate Middleton made her final solo, pre-baby appearance Thursday, walking the blue carpet in honor of the debut of Princess Cruises' latest ship.

Fittingly, the vessel will be called the Royal Princess.

With focus squarely on the Kate Middleton baby due this summer, it's easy to lose track of the influence this beauty has in the world of makeup and fashion.

But a new study by Feel Unique is here to remind us:

According to the poll, 30 percent of British women are likely to purchase a product used by the Duchess, more than double the amount of confidence given to any other woman in the survey.

Kate Moss finished second with just 15 percent, while Victoria Beckham, Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian rounded out the top five.

The latter was the top finishing American.

Reports that the pregnant Kate Middleton will give birth to the royal baby this summer via Caesarian section surfaced this week, but may be exaggerated.

The Duchess is open to having a C-section but is leaving all decisions about the logistics of her childbirth to the royal physicians overseeing her pregnancy.

So basically she's not diametrically opposed to having the procedure, but isn't booking the date either. In fact, she's willing to leave that call to others.

Royal correspondents say Kate Middleton won't even have - or want - the final say in whether she goes the natural childbirth or the painkiller route.

"She's taken advice from the royal doctors already," says a source.

Tradition will be changed in that Prince William will be in the delivery room to witness the birth of their child, and an announcement will come via Twitter.

She's taking cooking classes and learning new recipes, reports indicate. Her new housekeeper, Antonella Fresolone, has been giving her one-on-one lessons.

Kate and Prince William are said to be more in love than ever since she got pregnant, but if a man's heart is through his stomach, he may love her even more!

Fresolone, who worked for 13 years at Buckingham Palace, comes highly regarded. Her homemade pasta and French bread recipe are supposedly to die for.

The Duke and his wife commandeered her services last month, and she's wasted no time teaching Kate Middleton how to make "a number of new dishes."

Like many moms-to-be, the Duchess of Cambridge has been craving spicy foods, and luckily for her, a friendly couple in her parents' village has been obliging.

While July has long been the expected month of the birth of Prince William and Kate Middelton's baby, we now have he first report of an exact day:

July 13.

The UK Mail on Sunday quoted an unnamed friend saying "Some of their closest pals were at a barbecue hosted by a family friend of the Royals recently."

"Kate and William and their friends were all discussing the fact that Kate’s baby is due to be born on July 13. Everyone there was very excited."

If the baby cooperates, the birth would fall right in the middle of a four-day Coronation Festival marking the 60th anniversary of the Queen's coronation.

It would also lose gambling addicts a lot of money. Kate Middleton due date betting has been heaviest in the first week of July, according to reports.
