What seemed like an ordinary evening out turned into the time of one young woman's life thanks to rapper Drake hopping on stage to sing karaoke with her.

Dalal, a.k.a. "Dee," a student from Kuwait, got a text from a friend who DJs at Saddle Ranch in L.A., telling her to stop by because a celeb was in the house.

"When I showed up I asked Jay who the celebrity was and he said he was not sure, and that I should go find out," said Dee, a karaoke regular there.

Dee then took the stage to sing Rihanna's hit "What's My Name," and ...

"I was like, anyone? Anyone? Hello? And decided to just sing it by myself and then boom! Drake jumps up with his bodyguard behind him and he was like ‘Wait, I thought I was going to do the song with you.'"

Can you believe that? Even cooler? She hung out with him after.

"I went over to his table and Drake told his bodyguard to let me through. He hugged me and I thanked him for singing with me and told him it made my day."

Pretty funny.

Rapper Drake has canceled a concert in Florida tomorrow night.

The tragic reason is that his uncle passed away. The star (real name Aubrey Graham) is reportedly en route home to be with family in Canada.

Drake's rep said: "We regret to announce that Drake will not be able to take the stage at Universal Orlando Resort due to a death in the family."

"He hopes that his fans understand the situation he finds himself in and know he fully intends to return to the area in the future. He thanks Universal Orlando Resort and his fans for their continued support.”

Last night at the BET Awards, some lucky fans were chosen to present the viewer's choice award. Some serious awkwardness transpired.

Not only did the wrong person get it, the celebrities involved happened to be Chris Brown and Rihanna, with Drake thrown in no less.

Brown owned the BET Awards, taking home four big honors, one of which being the viewer's choice award. But it wasn't given to him initially ...

The lucky fan read the winner as "Chris Brown," only to recant it and say, "I'm sorry, the winner is Rihanna." The audience grumbled.

THEN, despite the fact that Rihanna's name appeared on screen one of the presenters chimed in again to award the honor to ... Drake.

Drake then appeared on stage to collect his trophy, giving a short speech and describing the whole thing as awkward. To say the least.

Presumably, at some point later, Brown was credited with the actual award ... but not before the entire process was thoroughly discredited.

Rihanna and Drake were romantically linked a few years ago in the wake of the Chris Brown scandal. Now reports suggest the steamy "What's My Name" duet partners are hooking up again, following a sexy trip to Montreal!

According to a nightclub source, "They came in at about 1 a.m. after her concert, and she got visibly drunk ... .they were dancing and grinding on each other." HOT! After that, the two headed off to the Mondrian Hotel ... together!

What transpired there? No clue. Maybe something along these lines ...

Justin Bieber received an honor at tonight's Muchmusic Video Awards. He then walked on to the stage and gave Selena Gomez the honor millions of girls around the globe would murder for.

Upon accepting the International Video of the Year alongside Drake, Bieber turned to Gomez on stage and said she looked beautiful and, hey, maybe she'd like to go on a date some time!

Selena just smiled, aware that she has already gotten a lot more than a date from Bieber! Watch the video below to see the exchange:

Nicki Minaj and Drake got hot and heavy over New Year's. Not too surprising, since they're married, after all. Just kidding ... probably.

After separate New Year's Eve performances in Miami, the couple reportedly met up during the after hours for some hot, heavy cuddling.

According to reports, Drake bolted to meet up with Nicki promptly after leaving his party so that they could have some alone time together.

DRICKI: An eyewitness saw them leaving together after partying until 4 am.

"Right after the clock struck midnight, Drake left his party at the W South Beach and dashed over to Nicki's Moet & Chandon-sponsored bash at Mansion."

"[They] were dancing and cuddling all night."

Commence wedding rumors, round two! These two are SO into each other. As far as the Nicki Minaj sex tape rumors? Those we cannot vouch for.

While celebrity Tweets registering at "100+" is commonplace, the social networking site actually did compile the top 10 re-Tweeted messages of the year.

Weezy and Gaga both made the Twitter Top 10.

The year's top Twitter posts included a defiant Britney Spears, food for thought by Drake, and a hilarious, sad and topical one-liner by Steven Colbert.

Strangely, Al-Qaeda cracked the top five. It's a satirical account, not really updated by Osama Bin Laden ... we think. How morbidly funny would that be?

A hearty round of congratulations is due for Drake and Nicki Minaj. The rapper sweetly Tweeted today:

Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and dont stare at her too long. She's finally mine. :).

No other wedding details have been revealed, but the romantic, public exchanges didn't end there:

"Yes, its true. Drake and I tied the knot," Minaj Tweeted, asking her new, official man: "U scurred? @drakkardnoir u ready to make the announcement or wha?"

He replied: "Baby I am never scared. PROUD is more the word I would use."

Justin Bieber is a wanted young man - and we aren't just referring to the singer's popularity among teenage girls!

The artist joined hip hop star Drake on stage this weekend in Indianapolis, rapping along to "Bet I Ever Had."

Said Drake to the sold-out crowd: "This kid is part of something special. You know we're both from Canada... so you know I can't forget ol' J. Beezy. That's my dawg."

Elsewhere, the possible future Glee guest star is being recruited by an even bigger name in the industry: Kanye West.

In a series of recent Tweets, the rapper - who has come out with a new, controversial video for "Power" - wrote of his affection for a Bieber single and proposed a collaboration between the pair:
