Chris Brown and Drake’s short-lived bromance appears to be in full swing, with the former crooning to the latter's song in an amusing new Instagram video.

Using a very theatrical, feminine and exaggerated falsetto voice, Chris sings a few bars from Drizzy's "0-100 (Real Quick)," clearly cracking himself up.

Brown captioned the post, “Ima GANGSTA n*gga!” Watch:

While some celebrity gossip sites jumped on this as a sign that their once-infamous feud may be back on, we're going with the opposite conclusion.

This strikes us as Chris being silly more than anything.

Everyone was shocked to see Chris Brown and Drake in the studio together this month, and to see Chris rap along to a Drake song on Instagram.

All the bad blood over Rihanna (and their nightclub fight from 2012) feels like a distant memory, and they even spoofed the beef in an ESPYs skit.

Yes, Chris is having some fun at Drake's expense here, but it seems pretty light-hearted and out of mutual respect, rather than a cheap shot.

Over the weekend, Liam Payne posted a photo of himself standing on a boat, nearly naked.

The image was handsome and unexpected, but let's face it: not exactly groundbreaking.

Celebrities from across all industries and genders have been publishing shirtless photos on Instagram for nearly as long as this social media site has been in existence.

The following picture gallery includes singers and actors; models and athletes; and two women who have had sex with Chris Brown!

There's no accounting for taste. But there is accounting for hotness! Click and drool away now, men and women:

Drake hosted the 2014 ESPY Awards on Wednesday night, and while the show was supposed to focus on the year's greatest achievements in sports Drizzy not surprisingly found a way to focus much of the attention on himself...and his many boring feuds.

First, a sketch featuring Drake and Chris Brown spoofed the fact that the two R&B/hip hop stars once wanted each other dead but are now total besties.

Later in the show, Drake acknowledged his spat with rival rapper Macklemore in a slightly more subtle fashion:

That's Drake crooning a comedic song entitled "Honorable Mention" dedicated to all the runners-up in the crowd.

Watch the screen behind him when he sings "Real talent doesn't always win championships/Like real music doesn't always win Grammys."

Chris Brown and Drake went at it last night at the ESPYs ... but only in jest in a skit that mocked their previous rivalry and the former's violent past.

The two dudes who once wanted to kill each other pretty much killed it, too.

After a long setup to establish the Chris Brown-Drake beef, and stir up a faux Blake-Drake rivalry, the rapper and 2014 ESPYs host ends up on an operating table.

With "Dr. Blake Griffin" ready to operate, Drake is already a little uneasy ... and then Brown pops up with surgical tools in hand, ready to go to work.

"YOLO motherf--ker," he menacingly says as Griffin puts him under:

Afterward, Griffin and Brown were live on stage, faux announcing that Drake was done for the night ... and Chris introduced himself as "America's Sweetheart."

The L.A. crowd loved it, and rightfully so (especially the Cheetos joke), even though Chris mocking his violent tendencies is always a high-risk move.

Troubled star Chris Brown is ready to throw down and assault Drake again ... only this time in jest as part of a skit at the ESPY Awards this evening.

How times have changed since that NYC nightclub fight.

Chris and Drake

This should be good when the annual show airs tonight.

According to a source familiar with rehearsals, the skit begins in a law office, then a locker room and finally in a dentist's office. Because obviously.

There, Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin stands menacingly over Drake, when the frightened rapper blurts out, "Are you really going to do this?"

Enter none other than his former rival Chris Brown.

"No, I am!" he says ... again, changing times.

Chris Brown and Drake had beef at one point, and with good reason.

This wasn't a case of one dude subtly throwing shade at another in song. The two hip-hop/R&B giants both dated Rihanna and the romantic rivalry got so intense that Chris and Drake brawled in a nightclub after the Drizzy reportedly taunted Breezy about banging "the love of [his] life."

Amazingly, Chris and Drake hugged it out and quashed the beef last October and it now it seems they've got a full-blown bromance going on.

Chris Brown and Drake in the Studio

That's Chris and Drake collaborating in the studio together and it's not the first time the two have advertised their newfound love for one another on social media lately.

The truly surprising thing about this unexpected friendship isn't the fact that the two rapper/singers were able to get over the fact that both dated and apparently fell in love with Rihanna. Rather, it's the many ways in which Chris and Drake are total opposites:

It seems like only 2012-13 when Chris Brown and Drake were engaged in an epic feud and their posses were hurling bottles at a New York nightclub.

Now only have they quashed the beef, but nowadays, Breezy spends his downtime rapping along to Drake songs and posting videos of it online!

So ... do you want to sound the man-crush alert or shall we?

Many felt that Drake's romance with Rihanna would jeopardize the detente with Chris, but if so, he wouldn't Instagram himself rapping Drake’s "0-100."

Chris posted that he was “bored freestyling," talking about sex, guns and jail - topics he is well versed in. Dude's good at using guns and knives, remember.

In any case, his Instagram post seems to suggest that there’s at least a baseline level of respect with Drake, who returned the favor back on June 2:

Drake has pulled a Miley Cyrus.

No, he didn't go topless for an album cover... or get hospitalized as the result of an allergic reaction... or diss Selena Gomez in concert.

But the artist did light up for the first time on stage, Wiz Khalifa in Houston over the weekend and telling the crowd, with a lit joint in his hand:

"I’ve never done this in my life before during a show… f-ck it."

Watch Drake take a drag on that sucker now:

We just named Drake one of the 17 Most Intelligent rappers out there.

But we may need to redo our rankings now.

In what often seems like a genre focused on getting cars, cash, and girls, rap often gets a bad rap. Some of the genre's most talented voices use their powers for good.

Or they try. Instead of playing to the lowest common denominator, their politically charged and often personal song lyrics are an attempt to alter the course of pop culture.

It's easy to sell records when songs are about Miley Cyrus Twerking. Making people listen to your song about class struggles, religion, and racism is a different story.

Drake
Drake was 2013's most Tweeted about rapper. He definitely knows a thing or two about social media, and the personal stories behind his songs have made him immensely popular.

Fortunately, some rappers have made this their mission. They're the voices of political discourse for their generation. And they know the meaning of one simple word: diversify.

Instead of focusing solely on their careers as musical artists, they've branched out into the world of music production, acting, apparel, and public speaking.

Drake may not know the square root of 69, but he does know a thing or two about rap and joins a list of our 17 most intelligent rappers ever, a group of most definitely smart men.

Bottom line: There's more than one way to bank the Benjamins while spreading your message than merely rapping about being all about the Benjamins.
