50 Cent is a rap star who has been shot many, many times. Seriously, you can't even count how many times this fool has gotten capped....

It started as a rumor.

And it nearly ended in a knockout.

Last night, at a restaurant in Spain, Orlando Bloom tried to punch Justin Bieber, presumably due to chatter about Bieber's relationship with Bloom's ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.

Did she simply find him cute? Did the model and the singer actually hook up? Based on Bieber's Instagram response, it certainly seems like the latter.

Bloom's roundhouse may have (unfortunately) missed Bieber's skull, but no matter. These two still deserve a spot in our rundown of the craziest celebrity fights in Hollywood history. Why?

Because ORLANDO BLOOM TRIED TO PUNCH JUSTIN BIEBER. It makes us giddy just to write those words...

When you're a kid, a shared love of Ninja Turtles is all it takes to forge a lifelong friendship.

Sometimes it seems like it's the same way with celebrities. Stars who have nothing in common other than wealth and fame often form bonds that baffle us plebeians.

Sure, money and power tend to break down a lot of social barriers (Mick Jagger has been knighted by the Queen of England. 'Nuff said.), but even that explanation can't help us wrap our heads around some of the stranger sets of celeb-besties:

Gwyneth Paltrow and Jay Z
Gwyneth claims she's tight with Jay. Right. We're sure they do the most gangsta yoga together.

Some of these pairings aren't so shocking when you consider their backstories (Jonah Hill has a history of stalking his A-list co-stars, so it's no surprise he latched on to Brad Pitt).

Others, we're not sure we totally believe. (Gwyneth Paltrow and Jay Z? Right, keep trying to sell us on that one, Gwinnie.)

When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West got together, we gave them our best side-eye, but it didn't seem that far-fetched that people so in love with themselves and attention would gravitate toward each other.

Not so with some of the other big couples in Hollywood, particularly those of the May-December varieties where the age gap is so great one could be the other's parent.

Then there are those pairings that inspire the public collectively asking "what could they POSSIBLY have in common?" Besides fame, that is. (And likely an affinity for kink.)

Some of Hollywood's best and brightest change significant others like normal people change underwear, so it's no surprise that some couplings are pretty bizarre.

Nevertheless, here are 17 weird celebrity couples we can't even believe:

Macaulay Culkin and Mila Kunis
Before becoming Ashton Kutcher's Baby Mama, Mila Kunis dated Macaulay Culkin...for EIGHT YEARS. Speaking of Ashton...

And speaking of those (sometimes) fleeting May-December romances, check out our gallery of some celebrity couples with big age differences between them.

Do we smell another rapper feud in the works?

During an appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live last night, 50 Cent was asked to name the most "overrated" hip hop star of all-time... and he didn't hesitate with his response.

"Jay Z," Fiddy replied. "He would say he was overrated. Rather be overrated than underpaid."

The artist was also asked about Jay Z's prettier half after having admitted that he had an argument with Beyonce in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve.

In the wake of Justin Bieber's racist video leak, a number of African-American celebs have rushed to the pop star's defense.

Rappers Mack Maine and Lil Wayne stood by Bieber in a statement released last week, joining the ranks of Floyd Mayweather and Whoopi Goldberg, who had already expressed their beliefs that despite the ugly slurs he used on camera, Justin is no racist.

50 Cent has now added his name to the list of unlikely Bieber defenders, but Justin may not be thrilled with all of Fiddy's comments on the topic:

  • Fifty Cent Picture
  • Selfie of Justin Bieber

"I don't think he's racist," said 50 in a recent interview. "I don't even think he knows who he is at this point - he's so young. When you see people become stars really early it's tough for them."

Mr. Cent added that Justin is "just a baby" who's stardom has caused him to become "lost."

Maleficent may have marked the biggest opening of Angelina Jolie's career.

But we're already over it.

Sure, the actress is tremendous as this Sleeping Beauty-based villain, but she's nothing compared to 50 Cent taking on the same role.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, the rapper teased a new project that “ain’t going to no Redbox.”

He and the host then introduced a trailer for MaleFiftyCent, which features Fiddy taunting Elle Fanning’s Aurora with lines such as "I’ve been shot 9 times, I’m not afraid of no white girl."

Hey, whatever distracts from that 50 Cent first pitch fail, right?

Looking for more Jimmy Kimmel Live hilarity? Have no fear.

50 Cent's first pitch fail at a recent New York Mets game was pretty embarrassing for the rapper. Bot not nearly as embarrassing as his explanation for why he botched the throw.

The topic of Fiddy's now legendary super wild pitch naturally came up during a Reddit AMA he conducted last night and Mr. Cent provided a joking (we hope) justification for why he couldn't put the ball in the same area code as home plate.

"I have a skeletal muscle injury on my left shoulder from excessive masturbation so take it easy lol," 50 responded to the inevitable question on what the hell happened that fateful day.

It's certainly a more colorful response than 50's original claim that the pitch "slipped," and we appreciate his attempt at humor, but 50 shouldn't have been surprised when the rest of the Q & A session was littered with "Curtis Jacks-on" jokes.

50 Cent, continuing to speak out on the Jay Z-Solange fight for some reason, doesn't think that Jay Z could have handled it in any other way.

"He did the right thing," the rapper said about his fellow hip-hop artist.

"We'll make fun of it because it's an opportunity to make fun. At the end of the day, the nightmare would've been him responding in any other way."

He makes a fair point ... not that it's at all clear why he's making it.

Musing on how he would have reacted, Mr. Cent hedged.

50 added, "Would you be wrong for defending yourself? In that place, just instinctively, if he had defended himself, would he have been wrong?"

Happily, the tension between Jay Z, wife Beyonce and Solange seems to have abated, but 50 Cent has his ideas about what triggered the incident.

To hear 50 tell it, Solange was defending Bey.

Earlier this week, 50 Cent threw out the worst first pitch in Major League Baseball history.

This is a photogenic fact.

Asked to explain what the HECK happened during an appearance on Good Morning America today, the rapper swore such an incomprehensibly poor toss was not a publicity stunt.

"It slipped! It slipped out of my hand," the 38-year-old said. "I’m not a professional pitcher, I make music."

Fiddy said the pitch has became so notorious so quickly that the police even pulled him over just to talk about it.

Many things in life may be subjective.

Is the Kim Kardashian sex tape better than the Kendra Wilkinson sex tape? Was Tupac a better rapper than Biggie? Should Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik apologize for smoking pot and insulting African-Americans?

We could debate those topics forever.

But, thanks to the magic of the Internet, we now have conclusive evidence about another pressing pop culture issue: the infamous 50 Cent first pitch tossed by the rapper prior to a Mets game this week.

As you can see, it was rather abysmal:

But was it the worst ceremonial first pitch ever thrown by a celebrity?
