Whatever. 50 Cent was born Curtis James Jackson III. But that doesn't have nearly the hard core ring to it.
He got huge with the help of Eminem and Dr. Dre in 2003, then founded the record label G-Unit Records, which signed rappers such as Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo, who people apparently like. 50 Cent has been in a court battle with baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins lately over a promise he supposedly broke to give her their Long Island house. 50 Cent also owns Mike Tyson's old mansion in Connecticut.
