Jessica Simpson and Dolly Parton have a lot in common. Or at least two pretty major things in common. Well, two things plus blonde hair and country music.

The famously busty pair found common ground this week on Twitter, faced with the difficulties of lugging those things around with them every single day.

"Aahhh chiropractor... Hurts so good :-) you lug these around and see if your back don't hurt!" Parton posted to her Twitter account on Monday morning.

Jessica Simpson responded to the tweet with an "Amen sister :)."

Giant boobs then and now: They appear more exposed these days.

Both Simpson's and Parton's double-D breasts have been topics of discussion (among fans and celebrity gossip websites) over the course of their careers.

Jessica Simpson's father, Joe Simpson, famously praised his daughter's chest in a 2004 interview with GQ magazine, saying, "Jessica never tries to be sexy."

"She just is sexy. If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she's gonna be sexy in both. She's got double D's! You can't cover those suckers up!"

Spoken like a true pimp moonlighting as a father.

As we recently reported, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was given the pink slip by the CW's Melrose Place, joining the growing ranks of unemployed Americans.

In the wake of her sister's firing, Jessica Simpson says she is no longer a fan, taking to Twitter to defend Ash and bash Melrose Place for letting her go.

Here's what she wrote to the CW:

"Catching up on MP. who writes this crap? i have had some bad scripts to work with, but this? thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press."

Of course, the show feels it will improve with her gone.

According to various reports, Ashlee was canned because producers feel she can't act, and was therefore responsible for the aforementioned bad scripts.

SISTERLY SUPPORT: However delusional she may be, Jessica has Ashlee's back.

"They hired her because they needed a good name to help create buzz," a set insider said. "But it backfired when she was so embarrassingly bad."

"Producers cut her down as much as possible."

Seconds another source, according to Us Weekly: “[Ashlee] is the worst actress, but nobody will tell her.” THG NOTE: We have certainly tried ...

Anyway, what's next for Ashlee? Possibly more acting. The girl is undeterred by the recent eviction from her day job, according to a source:

"She’s reading scripts. Acting is her focus now. If she had an album, she’d have to tour and be away from Bronx. She wants consistency.”

Jessica Simpson may be unlucky in love. But she's still looking.

"I definitely love a spiritual man – somebody that is going to always put up with my neediness and overbearing manager-dad be able to inspire me."

Simpson, who split from NFL star Tony Romo in July and who also had a on-off romance with douchebag ladies' man John Mayer, doesn't stop there.

"I don't want to get bored," she tells Extra. "I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men ... people that will always keep me intrigued."

And what else? "I love artistic men – somebody that really understands their art," says Nick Lachey's ex-wife. "I like a confident man," she adds.

She may be lonely, but don't count Jessica Simpson out yet.

Simpson has been traveling the world working on her upcoming VH1 program, The Price of Beauty, and says the travels have been a growing experience.

"I couldn't have had this journey at a better time in my life, to seek out beauty, to seek out confidence and to seek the power of a woman," she says.

Jessica, who just got a new Henna tattoo, added, "It really is about who I am and want to become, and what's going to make the best version of myself."

We're not sure what that would be career-wise, but all kidding aside, we really do hope Jessica finds someone capable of making her happy forever.

Returning from her recent trip to India, where she was filming her upcoming reality show The Price of Beauty, Jessica Simpson showed off a Henna tattoo.

Nice to see she picked up some new ink while visiting that wonderful nation. Too bad she couldn't pick up any singing or acting talent while she was there.

"The intricate Mehndi designs are typically Indian, and made with a turmeric paste," her rep tells London's Daily Mail of Jessica Simpson's new tattoo.

"They're worn at wedding ceremonies and are supposed to bring good luck to eligible single women in India. It's a big style statement. These extremely intricate designs usually take hours to apply by hand using a brush. The artists are very skilled."

Unlike a certain "artist" we know. Sorry.

While in India, Jessica also got a bindi dot on her forehead (above, left) as she hit up a Bollywood party at the capital's glitzy Vie Lounge earlier this week.

Simpson was a guest of Neha Dhupia, the Indian "beauty ambassador" on the singer's show. We don't know what that means, but it sounds really awesome.

Simpson's upcoming reality show, scheduled to air on VH1, documents what beauty means in different cultures. It also documents her being a moron a lot.

Last Sunday's Fox NFL pregame show featured a cartoon that mocked the Dallas Cowboys players and organization, along with Jessica Simpson's weight.

A cartoon version of Marion Barber wondered how Tony Romo dated Jessica "after she blew up like (350-pound lineman) Flozell Adams." Later, cartoon coach Wade Phillips asked: "Say Tony, is Jessica around? We could use a defensive tackle!"

The alleged singer and actress was not amused.

While she didn't address the Fox spoof by name, the embattled reality star recently Twittered the following: "I will never understand why people attack for a laugh."

"Own your beauty and don't listen to the judgement [sic]."

Both Fox and Burger King have apologized, saying "Our attempt at humor was insensitive and we apologize to anyone who might have been offended by it."

Fortunately, Simpson doesn't seem to be letting the incident get her down. She's focusing on traveling the world for her new show, The Price of Beauty.

"Having a great sushi filled dinner with friends and fall out of the chair laughter," she Twittered while taking a break from filming with pals in New York City.

We're glad she's staying strong. Jessica Simpson may be an annoying, no-talent hack, but she's one with natural, bootylicious curves! Flaunt it, girl!

Fox NFL Sunday, the network's weekly pregame show, is not funny.

It's as if the hosts try to offer as little insight as possible, while they sit around and laugh at each other's jokes, which they try to make as unfunny as possible.

Nevertheless, you have to give the football pundits credit for this cartoon spoof from last Sunday, which mocks their own show as well as the Dallas Cowboys.

Head Coach Wade Phillips, quarterback Tony Romo and his ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson are among those ridiculed, and let's just say Fox was far from subtle.

Of Jessica's weight gain, running back Marion Barber jokes, "I can't believe Tony dated Jessica Simpson, even after she blew up bigger than Flozell Adams!"

Flozell, BT-Dubs, is an tackle for Dallas who tips the scales at 340.

Days after calling off the search for her beloved dog Daisy, who was abducted by a coyote sometime last week, Jessica Simpson traveled to Uganda to film more of her stupid upcoming reality show, The Price of Beauty.

Simpson, who is in Africa with pals Ken Paves and Cacee Cobb, is "focusing on work" after the loss of her 5-year-old maltipoo, a source close to her says.

"She's so happy seeing the world, opening her eyes to what's out there," another source tells celeb gossip magazine Us. "This is a good project for her."

Doesn't look she's too thrilled to see what the world has to offer based on the picture she put on her Twitter account. Talk about the queen of pathetic ...

Oh yeah, Jessica's so happy there. So much so that she Twittered "WTF?!?" while surrounded by protective fly nets. "Do I really have to sleep like this?"

Actually, you do, because of malaria, which kills people all the time in third world countries. And those people can't just jet back to their mansions either.

No word if Africa Twittered back: "WTF? Do we really have to live like this?"

The alleged singer-actress is also set to visit Mumbai, India, for the show, which does not yet have a premiere date, and hopefully will never get one.

We're kidding, of course. Jessica is not really suicidal.

Just the same, after reading this article, Papa Joe Simpson might want to take away her belts and shoelaces just to be extra cautious. It could get ugly.

They obviously liked First Food & Bar. They returned last night to watch Monday Night Football and dine on Grandma's Pizza and ice cream sandwiches.

Wow, back-to-back nights at a sports bar? Vanessa Minnillo sounds like the coolest, most laid-back chick ever. Quite a contrast from pathetic Jessica.

After her beloved dog Daisy became a coyote's dinner last week, Jessica Simpson may have hit the lowest point of her life, her friends fear.

"Daisy was her baby," one of them said. "It's going to put her into an absolute tailspin. It will put her into the worst place ever."

Worst. Place. Ever. Not that we're being overdramatic at all.

But another source close to the alleged singer and actress says she's having a hard time but is coping better than her friends may realize.

"She's really upset, but not spiraling out of control by any means," a source says. "She'll get through it but it's like losing a family member."

Daisy was snatched by a coyote before Simpson's very eyes in L.A. last week, and despite her efforts, no sign has been seen of the maltipoo.

"She won't leave her parents' house," a source says. "Whenever things went wrong, she reached for Daisy. Daisy was her security blanket."

On September 19, stylist pal Ken Paves convinced Simpson to finally leave her house. They went to Vino in Encino, Calif., to perk her up.

Jessica Simpson needs a reality check. And a new hairstyle.

"Jessica seemed okay, but wasn't smiling," an onlooker says. "Wine made her relax a bit, but it was obvious she was having an awful week."

"Jessica has a very small inner circle," the friend said. "But she always had Daisy. Daisy gave her the unconditional love she needed."

Unlike some of the men in her life, "Daisy never betrayed her. Daisy was always there for her. This is serious. Jessica’s heart is broken."

Whenever she was out at night, Jessica Simpson called home and had "someone put Daisy on the phone so she could say goodnight."

"Daisy ran the house," the friend said. "If Daisy didn’t like you, you were gone."

When Jessica Simpson was having relationship problems, the friend said "she would cry herself to sleep at night, using Daisy as a pillow."

We're not sure if this is all sweet or lonely and pathetic.

Either way, Daisy filled a void because "Jessica is very needy. She is very clingy. She is so sweet, but sometimes she's hard to be around."

"It's not always easy. She hates to be alone. That's what happened with Tony. Jessica smothers people. She doesn't really have hobbies."
