Naya Rivera Deletes Twitter Account, Mass Panic Ensues

by at .  Updated at . Comments

Naya Rivera is the latest celebrity to bid farewell to Twitter.

The actress, whose status for Glee Season 6 remains unclear after an alleged fight with co-star Lea Michele, abandoned the social media network this week without any kind of explanation or goodbye message.

The account has simply vanished and followers are now left to wonder what happened.

"Naya Rivera deleted her twitter randomly so I guess I no longer have use for twitter," wrote one bummed-out user, while another added:

"First Megan Fox abandons her twitter, now Naya Rivera deletes hers, WHO'S NEXT???!!?! DEMI?!?!? #trifecta#sad."

(NOTE: Fox does still have an active Twitter account, though she hasn't posted since questioning the point of doing so in January 2013; Demi Lovato, however, still Tweets up a storm each week.)

Rivera, meanwhile, has had a rough few months.

She split from fiance Big Sean; she was dropped by Columbia Records; and she may have been let go from Glee.

So it's understandable why the star may want a social media break, but take comfort in two things, fans:

  1. Rivera is still on Instagram.
  2. EVERYONE who quits Twitter eventually returns. Just ask Alec Baldwin, Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus...
