Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week in 2016.
She has said she thought she would be raped or even killed during the horrible ordeal.
So, why did she consider a return to this city on the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians?
What did husband Kanye West say to convince her to go?
How did she feel after the trip?
And what else transpired on this installment?!?
Answers to all these questions await down below!
Why Would She Go Back There?
To sit front row at Virgil Abloh's first Louis Vuitton show as the brand's creative director. This was the driving force behind the visit, as the episode kicked off with Kanye and Kim talking in depth about the possibility.
It's Your Call, But...
"I don't want to put any pressure on you to go to Paris," Kanye told his wife. "I think just for the culture, for Kim K to show up to the first black designer at [a] Louis Vuitton show, the world would just love to see you there."
"I Have to Think About It."
This was a major deal for Kim. She didn't want to arrive at any decision without weighing it carefully.
Pros and Cons
"I definitely want to be there to support Kanye and Virgil," Kim said in a confessional. "But the last time I was there it was a horrific experience for me. I'm going really cautiously. You never know what could happen."
A Quick Refresher
Kim was in her rented-out apartment that night in October 2016. Two men in masks broke in and tied her up, while screaming at her in French about where they could find jewelry and other items.
She Was Duct-Taped and Bullied
Kim told authorities that she thought she would be raped by the intruders. The men eventually put duct tape over Kim’s mouth because she continued to cry and beg for her life, saying she had little kids at home. The attack and robbery took about six minutes.
Back to the Episode:
Kim decided to go -- and Kris Jenner applauded her middle daughter for being brave enough to return to France. "You're a really good friend to go back to a place where you're not the most comfortable," she said. "But it's good putting your toe in the water."
"I hope that this trip is so good that I start to remember all the magical things about Paris and why Kanye and I fell in love with it," Kim said to the camera about The City of Lights.
Late, But Safe
Due a security snag, the famous couple arrived late to their hotel, ultimately delaying Kim and Kanye's arrival to the Louis Vuitton show.
And They Were Swarmed on the Streets
But this happens to Kim and Kanye in the United States, too, of course.
Was It Worth It?
"Kanye and Virgil had the sweetest moment, they were both crying," she said, once she was back home. "It was just such an emotional day. The fact that Virgil's come this far. It's just, it's like a symbol. Like, they made it. They did it. They're taking over the fashion world when everyone told them they couldn't do it."
Okay, But What was the Experience Like for HER?
"I don't think I'll forget my experiences in Paris, the good or the bad, and I think that's okay. Thinking about it, I think I could go back."
ELSEWHERE this week...
Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kris competed in a poker tournament to benefit cancer research and the City of Hope. In a funny training montage, we saw as Kris and Khloe being tutored by poker professionals, Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Hellmuth. Random, but kinda cool!
At the actual tournament, Khloe sat at the same table as Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent and her fiance, Randall Emmett. We didn't see that crossover coming!
As for Kourtney?
She was getting her eggs frozen and talking to Lala Anthony and Stephanie Shepherd and the fallout: "I’ve been so, like, up and down emotional because I’ve been doing the shots for the egg freezing."
We Even Saw Her Inject Herself
"I have the insurance if I wanna have [more] kids. Or, maybe I’ll never use them," Kourtney explained of her decision.
Kourtney really got candid about the process.
Her Final Say on the Topic:
"I just feel like this is for safety. I hope that going through all of this is worth it. I don’t want to put my body through something like this again. The emotions of it all are just a lot."
