Shocking news out of the world of Teen Mom today, as sources have confirmed that police were called to the home of Jenelle Evans and David Eason following a fight that apparently turned violent.
The latest development in the Easons' increasingly dysfunctional relationship was first reported by The Ashley's Reality Roundup.
The site obtained police records indicating that two cop cars and an ambulance were dispatched to the Easons' home in response to a domestic disturbance.
Here's everything we know so far ...
Trouble on the Land
According to The Ashley, police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance on David and Jenelle's property on Saturday, October 13.
A One-Sided Fight
"It was called in as an assault,” says the Chief of 911 Operations for Columbus County
Who Made the Call?
The Ashley has confirmed that the 911 call was placed by a female. At the moment, however, there's no way of knowing if the caller was Jenelle.
While an ambulance was dispatched to the scene, it was eventually canceled, and Jenelle was transported to the hospital by other means.
An Attempt to Downplay the Situation?
"The ambulance was called, and then canceled,” the Chief of 911 Operations confirmed to The Ashley.
A Need for Treatment
“The female was transported to the hospital via private vehicle instead," says the insider. The question now, of course, is -- what exactly happened to Jenelle?
Taking the Right Steps
Prior to heading to the hospital, Jenelle consulted with police, who informed her on how to prevent an incident such as this from happening again.
"The female was advised proper action,” says the Operations Chief. “[The officers] advised what legal action she could take.”
However, it seems Jenelle opted not to take any legal action, as no assault charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
Caught on Camera?
While Jenelle is currently filming the next season of Teen Mom 2, no camera crew was at her home at the time of the attack.
No Word From Jenelle
When production staff arrived at the house the next day to film with Jenelle and Barbara, no one in the Evans family made any mention of the incident.
Kept In the Dark
“The MTV crew had no clue what had gone down the night before,” a production insider tells The Ashley.
A Strange Coincidence
Last week, Jenelle was hospitalized for emergency sinus surgery. At the time, many fans voiced suspicions that she was covering up a domestic violence incident.
Insiders confirm, however, that the domestic incident at Jenelle and David's home took place after Jenelle's surgery.
An Ugly Situation
Of course, that means if David did assault Jenelle, he attacked a woman who was recovering from major surgery.
But just because Jenelle may have been telling the truth about her surgery, that doesn't mean she's not covering up for David.
Jenelle posted and deleted this photo from Instagram this week.
Misleading the Public?
Evans claimed that the bruises were from an IV she was hooked up to following her surgery.
Those who examined the photo closely, however, pointed out that the bruising appeared to be in the shape of fingers, suggesting that Jenelle had been violently grabbed.
Strange Times on the Land
Fans have been trying to piece together the events of the past two weeks, as David and Jenelle appear to have been involved in multiple violent altercations.
Adding to the weirdness is the fact that David has been more active than ever on Facebook and Instagram in recent weeks.
David Is the Worst
For the most part, he's been posting outrageously bigoted statements, possibly as a means of shifting focus away from the latest allegations against him.
Apologizing in His Own Way
He's also been publicly praising Jenelle every chance he gets ... albeit in his own, kind of gross way.
The Distraction Technique
For her part, Jenelle has also been trying to distract fans, but her approach has involved a non-stop assault against her castmate Kailyn Lowry.
It may be quite some time before anyone is able to determine exactly what happened on the Land that night, but rest assured we'll continue to monitor the situation and bring you new information as soon as it becomes available.
