Here's a sentence you've probably read many, many times before:
Jenelle Evans is headed to court!
Sadly, it's not criminal court this time, which means there's no chance that Jenelle will be tossed in the slammer.
And shockingly, this time, Jenelle is the one who's doing the suing!
Yes, Jenelle and husband David Eason have both filed a lawsuits against Evans' former friend Katrina Beaumont.
It's a pretty straightforward case, as the Easons are basically accusing Beaumont of stealing a bunch of their crap and not even attempting to hide it.
“David and Jenelle had to file their cases separately, because it is based on who the owner of each item in question is,” a source close to the situation tells The Ashley's Reality Roundup.
“They say she took a safe and some of David’s tools to make his knives,” the insider adds.
“And Jenelle’s four-wheelers are also on list of items, and some other random things like sports gear.”
It wasn't all that long ago that Katrina was one of the Easons' most trusted allies.
In fact, when Jenelle and David lost custody of their kids, they petitioned the court to place their daughter Ensley and Jenelle's son Kaiser with Katrina.
(The request was eventually denied.)
Katrina has appeared on several episodes of Teen Mom 2, and she's pretty much the only one who's been able to put up with the Easons' BS on a long-term basis.
But now, it appears that Jenelle and David have burned yet another bridge.
The trouble began back in 2019, when Jenelle dumped David and briefly moved to Tennessee.
David made a trip to the Volunteer State to visit his daughter Ensley, and he claims someone ransacked the Land while he was gone.
“I hope they enjoy my boat, my tools, my work trailer, my hunting and fishing equipment. Apparently they needed it more than me," Eason said at the time.
“It’s really low for anyone to steal someone’s tools when that’s what they use to make a living and that’s their livelihood altogether,”
David first accused Jenelle of stealing the items, but it appears that he later had a change of heart and decided that Katrina was to blame.
Around this time, Katrina posted that she had surprised her kids with new four-wheelers and kayaks.
But it wasn't until Jenelle and David reunited a few months later that Jenelle decied to publicly accuse Katrina.
“Hey Katrina and Shawn…Can I please have my belonging back that you took from me?” Evans wrote on Facebook in March of 2020.
“I really need my ATVs, boat, guns, jewelry and other things ASAP. I have been trying to contact you for a month now.”
Katrina has not responded to the allegations, but we're guessing she'll deny any wrongdoing in court.
This is just the latest in a long line of legal troubles for the Easons.
Earlier this week, Jenelle accused Deavan Clegg of stealing her Xanax during the brief time that the two of them worked together on the Girl Sh-t podcast.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, Clegg has now hired a team of attorneys, with the goal of suing Jenelle for her defamatory statements.
It's amazing that Jenelle and David have all of this money to spend on lawyers, considering it's been several years since either one of them has held a job.
But it might be money well-spent, as these two definitely cannot afford to lose a major lawsuit!
