According to reports, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are trying to save their marriage after Kanye’s erratic behavior and outbursts.

A new report says that there is one thing driving their reconciliation efforts above all else: thoughts of their children.

In Touch Weekly reports that Kim is going to pull out all of the stops to fix her marriage — for one good reason.

According to a source, Kim Kardashian “hates the idea” of 7-year-old North West moving to Wyoming with Kanye.

And she reportedly fears that if her toxic marriage to Kanye does end, that could be what happens.

The insider shares that Kim’s fear of “tearing their kids apart” is a real driving force for her to fix things.

As a result, the source shares, she and Kanye are both trying to “work on their marriage.”

That doesn’t mean that there is an easy fix, but the idea of dividing up their kids or disrupting their lives weighs on them.

The insider confirms that Kim wishes to remain in Los Angeles no matter what.

There, the report says, she will live “with their other children."

"But," the source adds, "she can’t deny North wanting to be with her father either.”

According to the insider, North “wants to be” spending time with Kanye.

“North knows that mommy and daddy are going through things," the source added.

Last month, their marriage was thrown into a crisis after Kanye’s erratic behavior and beliefs-not-rooted-in-reality led to a series of outbursts.

He accused Kim of trying to "lock him up" during an extended Twitter rant.

This came in the aftermath of Kanye’s farcical Presidential campaign rally in South Carolina, where he made false claims about Harriet Tubman and cried about abortion.

A Kiss for Kim

Specifically, Kanye proclaimed to the world that they had almost had an abortion instead of having North.

True or not, that is inappropriate information to share with the world, and likely not something to even discuss with North when she is 7.

Kanye, like countless people, suffers from mental illness. Unfortunately, untreated and unmedicated, it can lead to outbursts.

Kanye has been obviously spiraling for years, and some of his most famous moments are the result of his lack of impulse control.

From barging onto the stage to ruin Taylor Swift’s moment in 2009 to his tearful confession in South Carolina, Kanye says or does whatever is on his mind.

In a somewhat recent interview, he claimed that doctors had given him medications to "silence" him and to "make him fat on purpose," expressing paranoid delusions.

Countless people have bipolar disorder or other mental illnesses and are perfectly good people.

Though he has seemingly chosen to be a bad person in a number of ways, it is not Kanye’s fault that he has mental illness.

It’s hard to parse moral character from mental illness, but look at it this way: being a bad person leads you to hold a belief, mental illness might make you blurt it out.

“As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder," Kim shared in July.

"Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does," she wrote, "knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.”

"Living with bipolar disorder does not diminish or invalidate his dreams and his creative ideas," Kim insisted, "no matter how big or unobtainable they may feel to some."

"That is part of his genius," Kim alleged, "and as we have all witnessed, many of his big dreams have come true.”

Kanye had claimed to have tried to divorce Kim, but then expressed a change of heart.

“I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me," Kanye wrote later in July. "Thank you for always being there for me.”
