Sister Wives Preview: A House Divided, A Family in Turmoil
by Hilton Hater at . Updated at .We are less a month away from the return of Sister Wives.
For several weeks now, fans have been wondering what might lie ahead after all this time away from Kody Brown and his family.
Where do we even begin ...
Heck, the last time Kody really spoke out in any sort of public forum, it wasn't about anything show- or marriage-related.
It was a response to his unusual hair.
That was a lighter moment, but one that belied heavier issues and the fact that the famous family rarely speaks in public.
Now, however, Janelle Brown has jumped onto her Facebook page to promote the official TLC teaser for Sister Wives.
A house divided.
The Browns thought their move to Flagstaff would bring them closer together, but unexpected complications draw them further apart...with Kody caught in the middle of his four wives, wrote Janelle.
Janelle also encourages people to "tune in to the new season of #SisterWives Sunday, January 5 at 10/9c."

So there you have it, a confirmation of when Sister Wives will premiere, and an indicator of the tumult that awaits.
The divided house is a reference, of course, to Abraham Lincoln's famous speech in 1858, before he was president.
And to how Kody will be dead set on having all four of his wives under one roof in their new Arizona mansion.
But this proposal won't go over well with the titular spouses - Robyn, Janelle, Meri and/or Christine Brown.
There will also be a great deal of tension between Kody and Meri Brown in particular, or so we've been told.
We can expect mulitple scenes from the upcoming season depicting the husband and wife undergoing therapy.
"I can never be honest because she's unable to stop playing the victim," Kody tells the therapist at one point.
Meri, for her part, complains that Kody "doesn't want to move forward with trying to work things out with me."
Sounds like the same sort of unfortunate dance these two have been doing for awhile, doesn't it?
Check it out:
Yeah. It's not surprising that based on the latest preview, many fans think it's about to get very ugly between the spouses.
Meri has been sharing a number of cryptic messages on social media of late, each one hinting at significant dissatisfaction.
With her marriage. With her life. You name it. This is why some folks think Meri will soon be leaving Sister Wives.
One of many examples we're referring to here?
"In order to love who you are, you cannot hate the experiences that shaped you," Meri shared in late November, barely even hiding the fact that she isn't exactly a fan of all she's going through these days.
Yikes. Just yikes.
In the immortal words of Abraham Lincoln:
A house divided against itself cannot stand.
I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half slave and half free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved - I do not expect the house to fall but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.
As she reaches her breaking point, will Meri really say goodbye to the only family she's ever known?
Will the Arizona house ever be complete? Will the Browns fall victim to an epic financial disaster?
All of these burning questions many more may soon be answered. Chime in below with your predictions.
