With all the controversy surrounding Jed Wyatt's secret girlfriend, some of the wildest drama surrounding the current season of The Bachelorette has occurred off camera.
In fact, the show itself would be about as thrilling as watching paint dry in 2-hour installments were it not for the absolutely batsh-t antics of the maniac known as Luke P.
(Side note: Can we please bury this trend of every reality show doing 2-hour episodes? Like 40 percent of that is previews of what's coming up after the commercial!)
In case you've somehow missed it, Luke keeps advancing to the next round despite behaving like an absolute monster at every opportunity.
We guess Hannah gets a pass for giving dude a rose after he body-slammed Luke S. since she didn't actually witness the incident.
But last week, Like P. slut-shamed Hannah to her face and she still pinned a blossom on his lapel!
The situation has left many viewers with the impression that Hannah isn't the greatest judge of character -- including one of the very few people on the planet who's actually been in her position.
Rachel Lindsay starred on The Bachelorette Season 13, and in many ways, she's the anti-Hannah.
A savvy and tough-as-nails attorney, Rachel wasn't collapsing into any giggle fits because a guy complimented her dress.
And she also wasn't putting up with any BS from gaslighting psychos like Luke P.
Lindsay appeared on the Strahan and Sara hour of Good Morning America this week (Morning shows are also too long now, but that's a conversation for another time.), and she posted the above photo of herself backstage,
In the caption, she asked fans for their thoughts on the current season -- and boy, did they have a lot to say.
"There are so many good guys," one fan posted.
"I really think she would be unhappy with Luke P. I feel that he would be abusive in a relationship," she continued.
"He is the only one that she argues with. It makes me wonder if she just doesn't feed off of it in a weird way."
"It's not love its Lust with him. And .... how can she make out with every guy back to back and let them continue to pour out their hearts," another wrote.
"More conversation and less 'love acting' please and thank you."
At first, Rachel just sat back and watched it all unfold.
But as fans continued to discuss how miserable Hannah would be if she chose Luke, Lindsay finally decided to offer her own two cents:
"She would be miserable," she wrote.
"Have you seen Bird Box? She would be like the people [that] looked [at] the monsters in the face but survived."
Of course, that's not the first time that Rachel has thrown a little shade Hannah's way.
Before the season began, she was asked how she felt about Brown being cast as the Bachelorette -- and like many, many others it seems she wasn't not thrilled with the decision:
"It's nothing personal," she told Us Weekly.
"I separate the two: friends and [The Bachelorette]. I think Hannah B. is very, very nice," she added.
"If I was 23 in that house, I would have the time of my life.
"If she happens to find love, that's great! But she wasn't my first choice or my favorite."
That sound you just heard was Rachel hitting the nail squarely on the head.
We're sure Hannah is a perfectly nice person, and it seems that her heart is in the right place.
But as Bachelorette, homegirl has been an absolute disaster.
