Luke Parker was put squarely in his place on The Bachelorette this week.
The suitor - who has confidence oozing out of each one of his well-defined abdominal muscles - went a couple steps too far on Monday night, interrupting Hannah Brown's interactions with other men at various points and sort of acting all around like a pompous douche canoe.
But at least Parker has now acknowledged this behavior.
"I just want to address the elephant in the room here really quick," Parker wrote on his Instagram account the morning after the episode aired, adding in a message to his followers:
"I want you all to know how hard it has been for me to watch myself this season so far.
"Regardless of what is aired AND IF @alabamahannah and I are together or not my behavior in all situations has been and will continue to be exposed."
Parker, of course, was given the First Impression Rose on The Bachelorette premiere -- and then stunned viewers a week later when he declared his love for Hannah.
Yes, his love.
After knowing her for, like, two days.
Parker came under scorching hot fire for this claim, with numerous viewers telling Hannah to run as far away as possible from such a BS artist.
Heck, even Demi Lovato warned Hannah against selecting Parker as her husband.
Then, this week, Parker went around acting like Brown and him were already a couple, butting in on her conversations with other guys and following Hannah around at all times.
And Hannah called the front-runner out for it, too.
“Luke P. stole the show again but in a negative way,” she said in one confessional, adding:
“I know he’s one of my strongest connections, but it’s annoying when he tries to flaunt our connection in front of the guys.
"There have been just some little red flags about how he carries himself that bothers me a little bit."
At this point, Parker knows whether he's engaged to Brown.
The season wrapped up filming awhile back, but Luke can't actually tell anyone what happened.
He can, however, recognize that he made some mistakes along the way.
"I have learned a lot and I am continuing to learn about my flaws as a man. I’m the first to admit I am far from perfect," he added in this Instagram post.
"This journey has giving me a great opportunity to grow and mature as a man, for that I am grateful."
Parker is considered both a front-runner and a villain right now, but there's a long way to go this season.
Chances are strong that he'll continue to make headlines on a weekly basis.
"For those of you who are on this journey with me I am grateful for your support and hope you get to learn and grow from my mistakes with me!" concluded Parker yesterday.
The Bachelorette airs on ABC Mondays at 8/7c.
