KaBloom!
It’s both exciting and official and, at some point down the line, it will be nice and legal:
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are engaged!

The pop superstar herself confirmed this enormous nice by sharing a selfie on Instagram Friday morning.
The selfie featured portion of Perry’s face… and Bloom’s face… and the giant diamond ring gifted to the singer by the actor.
"full bloom," Perry wrote as a caption to the snapshot, making us think she may have agreed to the proposal purely for all the pun possibilities.
We’re just kidding.
She’s probably in love.

Bloom also shared this same picture on his own social media page, captioning it with a single, profound word:
lifetimes.
Elsewhere, Perry’s mom, Mary Hudson, gushed about the couple on her Facebook page, writing simply:
“Look who got engaged on Valentines Day!!”
The stars met at CAA’s Golden Globes afterparty at Sunset Tower in January of 2016, apparently hitting it off right away in very fun fashion.
“Katy and Orlando Bloom had a total dance-off – it was the best part of the party,” an insider told Us Weekly at the time, adding:
“Katy literally dropped to the floor and was waving her booty around, beckoning Orlando.”
The couple dated for about a year after that, splitting in February of 2017 before getting back together in January of 2018.

Likely teasing the engagement to come, Bloom wrote the following on his Instagram page on Valentine’s Day this week:
“A shallow person will have only shallow relationships. Real love is not one person clinging to another , it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality.
"Antoine de Saint- Exupery, author of The Little Prince wrote in a work called Wind, Sand and Stars:
‘Love is not two people gazing at each other, but two people looking ahead together in the same direction.”
Deep stuff here from O-Town, huh?
There had been recent talk of an engagement, but some believed it would be held up by Perry demanding a prenup.
The artist, meanwhile, was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012; she has also dated fellow celebrities John Mayer and Diplo.
Bloom, who dated Kate Bosworth from 2003 to 2006, was the husband of Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013. The exes share an eight-year old son named Flynn.
And this may not be the last time we post some gigantic news about Bloom and Perry.
Perry “wants a kid ASAP," a source tells Us Weekly.
Congratulations to the famous couple!
