Azealia Banks is taking issue with Miley Cyrus and a host of other big-time artists.
As only Azealia Banks can.
Apparently upset that the Miley-Nicki Minaj beef has dominated all headlines since Sunday night’s Video Music Awards, Banks went on an epic Twitter rant earlier today.
And it started with Banks taking aim at Cyrus.
"Miley Cyrus HAS to know her sh*t is whack as f*ck," the artist wrote.
"It has to be a joke… Isn’t she making fun of herself? Yes? No? Either way the sh*t is trizzy as f*ck and sucking up too much air."
She makes a good point, doesn’t she? Miley’s sh-t is sort of trizzy as f-ck. Sometimes, at least.
“It’s so funny to wake up and see nicki and Miley or nicki and taylor fighting when you ALL make basic ass music," Banks continued, tossing Taylor Swift and Minaj into the mix.
"it’s a ki!!! ITS A CONTEST OF THE BASICS. BASIC BASIC BASIC.”
This certainly isn’t the first time Banks has bashed Minaj.
Nor is it the first time Banks has claimed her appearance is holding her back, considering she recently slammed the VMAs as racist.
Asked why her songs are "charting," the singer responded to a follower with:
"Because my skin bleach hasn’t kicked in yet and I’m waiting for my ethnic rhinoplasty."
Banks went on to say Minaj’s songs sound like "Katy Perry leftovers" and added of Nicki:
“She be trying her hardest to be on the same level with these white bitches. Like don’t u get that these white girls are trying their hardest to be you? Why are u tryna be them? Idgi.
"But I know she knows she’s better than them and IT MAKES ME SO MAD cause it sets a standard for basicness that other black girls follow!! not cool!!!"
But we’ll close with Banks putting Miley on blast one final time:
“She gets that she has no culture no swag no nothing. She understands the inferiority of being white.”
Ummm…. okay then? Anyone care to comment? Or make any sense whatsoever out of Azealia here?
