We know summertime is already packed with patriotic holidays, but we may have throw one more national day of celebration into the mix:
June 24 shall henceforth be known as So Long LiLo Day!
Before we get to the exciting news, a little bit of background info is in order:
As you may have heard, Lindsay Lohan is off probation for the first time in eight years.
She’s now free to live anywhere in the world that she pleases, and as Lindsay has been spending a lot of time in London recently, there have been rumors that she might make her new home in the UK.
Today, Lindsay confirmed those rumors in an interview with London’s Hello magazine, so it might be time to start stocking up on fireworks and red, white and blue bunting.
"I can definitely see myself settling in London permanently." Lohan said. When asked she’s considering applying for citizenship, Linds replied, "If you’ll have me, I will."
Of course, it’s not time to start celebrating just yet.
She would still have to keep her nose clean (pun intended) and qualify for British citizenship and considering the fact that Lindsay is already back to boozing just days after being let off her leash, that seems unlikely.
Sigh. Well, at least now we have a new American dream.
