According to a recent report, Chris Brown has threatened to sue Oprah Winfrey over an interview that will run tomorrow night on OWN with his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
He supposedly believes the Q&A will slander his reputation. (Note to Chris: You need a positive reputation in order for it to be slandered.)
However, a couple clips from Tran's sit-down with Iyanla Vanzant have been released online... and they seem far less damaging than Brown's fists.
"I wanted to love him because that's what he needs," Tran says in the sneak peek posted above, which does sound a tad condescending, we suppose.
Elsewhere, Karrueche actually touches on Rihanna and the love triangle that dominated many celebrity gossip headlines for many months back in the day.
"I was under the impression that it was a friend-type of...not a friend but it wasn't what it became to be," Tran says, admitting she was in denial over just how close Brown was for a period of time with the ex-girlfriend he bloodied.
Tran and Brown finally split, seemingly for good, after it came out this month that Brown is the baby daddy of a boy he fathered nine months ago.
Tran was reportedly blindsided (and irate) over this news.
But she vows that you won't be hearing any more about that on social media.
"It's nobody's business but you and the person, or just you yourself, and... [posting online] leaves an open space for everybody to say what they want and have an opinion," she tells Vanzant of publicizing her problems.
"I've learned it a few times, but I've learned it the hard way."
