Kate Gosselin became the latest casualty on the new season of Celebrity Apprentice Monday night, falling victim to the Donald's wrath ... and girl drama.
Assuming the role of project manager to lead her team Vortex, Kate Gosselin became the boss of Geraldo Rivera, Kenya Moore and Vivica A. Fox.
Their task? Promoting Trump National Doral Miami resort and its amenities through an interactive experience ... which was a bit over her head.
So was managing her team of strong personalities.
"There was some struggles between Kenya and Vivica overall," the Kate Plus 8 star told Donald Trump, along with a serious dose of "girl drama."
Kenya wasn't about to be thrown under the bus.
"I was concerned with time management. I was concerned with how much time we were spending and Vivica didn't want to follow my directive," she said.
"I wanted to make sure I was communicating with Kate," The Real Housewives of Atlanta star said. "She needed to have support from her team."
"I'm a team player," she went on, implying that Gosselin is not and hilariously noting that "you don't become Miss USA without being a team player."
You learn something every day in this business.
As accusations began flying, Geraldo weighed in, "It's a good thing I have a beautiful wife and three strong daughters that prepared me for this!"
In the end, the wheels fell off for Kate, even though she urged, "Our team would be better able to operate in a positive way if we did not have Kenya."
Maybe so, but as Trump saw it, she had to go.
"Trump National Doral is very high-end and it didn't have a luxury feel," Trump told Kate, despite the fact that "you have a very difficult team to handle."
"Kate, I think it's your time," he said, firing her.
The single mother of eight was blindsided and taken aback by her firing. "I gave my all for my team and I'm sitting here. It just doesn’t add up," she said.
Think it does add up? Or are you Team Kate?
