After a one-season hiatus, the Ukrainian stud is back in the ballroom. Maksim Chmerkovskiy is returning to Dancing with the Stars this spring, full-time.

He was seen leaving a meeting with executives for the show Wednesday and it’s a done deal. Gotta work through that Kate Upton breakup somehow.

It’s not clear if Maksim will be back for any more seasons after this one, but fans who thought they’d seen the last of him will no doubt take what they can get.

As for his partner, it’s also unclear who he’ll be paired with. The celebrity contestants will all be announced next Tuesday on Good Morning America.

Among the rumored contestants? NeNe Leakes and Candace Cameron-Bure.

Even more notably, Erin Andrews, who was partnered with Maksim in Season 10, is coming back this year as host, replacing the fired Brooke Burke-Charvet.

This will be Chmerkovskiy’s 14th out of 18 on the long-running ABC series.

Maksim has yet to win it all, though this is in large part due to producers pairing him with inexperienced celebrities due to his strong teaching abilities.

He memorably took Erin Andrews, Brandy, Kirstie Alley, and Hope Solo deep into the competition, yet he is still in search of his first Mirror Ball title.

Excited to see him vie for it in 2014?
