Sitting at home and rehabbing a surgically repaired knee, what else does Tiger Woods have to do but see Elin Nordegren nude? Lucky stiff.

Our point? Woods and Nordegren are expecting baby #2!

"Elin and I are proud to announce that we are expecting our second child in late winter," the golfing great wrote on his official site.

"This has been a year of contrasts," the father of Sam Alexis added. "I had a solid start to the season, won the U.S. Open in an exciting playoff, then unfortunately had to shut it down after successful knee surgery. Now, I have some wonderful news to report. Sam is going to be a big sister."

Woods and Elin Nordegren welcomed baby Sam Alexis Woods in June 2007. The couple also revealed photos of the newborn a week after her birth.

"It is a dream come true for both Elin and myself," he said of parenthood. "I've been changing diapers and doing feedings. I definitely don't sleep now."

Not only did Tiger Woods force a playoff in the U.S. Open Sunday (he went on to win Monday), but his almost-one-year-old daughter was there to see it.

After Tiger beat challenger Rocco Mediate, wife Elin Nordegren and their wonderful baby Sam Alexis were standing by to celebrate.

After his historic victory in San Diego, which followed months of painful knee injuries, Tiger gave all the credit to Sam Alexis Woods:

"There's no way I could have gotten through this without Sam being there. Just watching her grow, walking, running now, it's been just the greatest thing in the world."

Tiger Woods finished second at The Masters this past weekend. He failed to overtake relative unknown Trevor Immelman in the final round.

Golf Channel anchor Kelly Tilghman was not fired for saying that young players who wanted to challenge Tiger Woods should "lynch him in a back alley."

Tilghman was instead suspended two weeks by the network.

A 1991 Duke graduate and former college golfer, Tilghman was laughing during the comment at the Mercedes-Benz Championship, and Tiger Woods' agent at IMG has said he didn't think there was any ill intent on her part.

But the comments became prevalent on news shows Wednesday, and the Rev. Al Sharpton joined the fray by demanding she be fired immediately.

Amazingly, Rosie O'Donnell has yet to weigh in.

The Golf Channel didn't comment on who would replace Kelly Tilghman (seen here with fellow anchor Nick Faldo) during her two-week unpaid vacation.

"There is simply no place on our network for offensive language like this," the Golf Channel said in a statement announcing the suspension.

Kelly Tilghman became golf's first female anchor last year when the PGA Tour signed a 15-year deal in which the Golf Channel broadcasts the first three events of the year, as well as weekday coverage of all tour events.

Kelly Tilghman's suspension ends in time for the Buick Invitational January 24, when Tiger Woods will make his 2008 debut.

Better choices of words have been made.

Golf Channel announcer Kelly Tilghman is facing heavy criticism for saying that the world's up-and-coming golfers should "lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley" during a Friday broadcast of the PGA Tour's opening event of 2008.

Presumably, she meant that in a figurative sense, since Tiger Woods wins every tournament and is thus the bane of every other golfer's existence.

But still, not the smartest move by Kelly Tilghman, a 1991 Duke graduate and former college golf standout who made history in becoming the sport's first full-time female TV announcer. People are asking: Should she be fired over this?

Kelly Tilghman has since apologized to Tiger Woods publicly and personally.

Upset, the announcer said that "I used some poorly chosen words... "I have known Tiger Woods for 12 years and I have apologized directly to him."

Dumb as it was, maybe this incident can simply blow over. Just don't comment on the fake Elin Nordegren nude pics, Kelly. Take our advice on this one.

Tiger Woods won the Target World Challenge Golf Tournament by seven shots on Sunday at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

As much as we'd all love to see Elin Nordegren nude, Irish magazine The Dubliner has paid the price for replicating an image of Mrs. Tiger Woods in the buff.

The wife of the world's greatest golfer won $183,250 and an apology from the publication that published an abusive article and a fake naked photo of her in 2006.

Trevor White, publisher of The Dubliner, conceded that the article was "cheap, tasteless, and deliberately offensive. It was also completely untrue."

All words from that description also hold true for the Jessica Sierra sex tape. Except for the "untrue" part.

No Elin Nordegren naked pictures here, folks. You'll have to make do with this bikini shot.

In a statement released earlier today, Nordegren welcomed the settlement.

"The false and deeply offensive article in The Dubliner magazine, with the accompanying photograph of another woman wrongly claimed to be me, caused great personal distress to me and my family," she said.

The beauty also said she'd donate the money to a cancer charity in honor of Heather Clarke, the wife of Northern Ireland golfer Darren Clarke, who died of cancer before the Ryder Cup tournament.

"This regrettable episode in our lives in no way detracts from the great love of Ireland that Tiger and I share," Elin Nordegren Woods said. "We look forward to experiencing the extraordinary warmth of its people and of our many friends in Ireland again in the future."

In related wives and/or mistresses of athletes posing naked, Kimberly Bell donated her Playboy money to no one.

Tiger Woods is here to inspire those that have gotten down on the world of sports recently.

And for once, this golfing god is not doing it through the use of his driver.

Instead, Tiger and wife Elin Nordegren are the proud parents of Sam Alexis Woods, a celebrity baby that may just rival Shiloh Nouvel for cuteness.

People magazine reports that the Woods family, which includes dogs Taz, a border collie, and Yogi, a labradoodle, are doing well.

"This is truly a special time in our lives and we look forward to introducing Sam to our family and friends over the next few weeks," Tiger wrote in a message on his site on June 18, the day Sam was born.

The couple's first child was born during a time when athletes aren't exactly acting as role models. Consider:

• Tom Brady has fathered a child out of wedlock with Bridget Moynahan.
• Barry Bonds is a jerk who has obviously taken steroids.
• Mark Philippoussis has reportedly slept with many loose women, including Paris Hilton and Tara Reid. Yuck.
• Professional wrestler Chris Benoit allegedly murdered his wife and son before taking his own life.

Indeed, it's a troubling time to be a sports fan. But Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren remind us that there's still beauty in the world of athletics.
