After she and her husband were guilty were found guilty on several counts of fraud, it began to look as though Teresa Giudice would be headed to prison.

Their original sentencing date was delayed following the death of Joe Giudice's father, but now the new day of reckoning is fast approaching, and Teresa is reportedly begging Bravo not to send a Real Housewives of New Jersey camera crew to document what may turn out to be the worst day of her life.

Teresa and Joe Giudice Head to Court

"Teresa doesn't want cameras from Bravo to be at her sentencing on September 23," says a source close to the network. "[She] has told producers of the show her thoughts. Bravo doesn't care what Teresa wants or thinks and they are done protecting her."

Teresa has complained about being "exploited" by Bravo in the past, and her diva-like behavior on set coupled with her habit of bad-mouthing the network has gained her little sympathy from execs.

Even so, if Bravo does send cameras Teresa's sentencing hearing, they'll likely be doing so not as an act of revenge, but out of a desire to protect their investment.

If you watched the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, you may have been moved by a touching scene in which Teresa gave her eldest daughter Gia a diamond ring that had been in their family for generations.

It was a rare moment of tenderness from a woman who's best known for her raging temper and constant legal problems.

Teresa and Gia Giudice

The only problem is - the whole thing was faked.

"The diamond ring had been given to Teresa about a year ago by a jeweler in New Jersey," a source close to the show tells Radar Online. "Teresa wanted to give Gia the ring on camera to give publicity to the jeweler."

And we're gonna go ahead and assume that Teresa received something in exchange for that "publicity." Disguising shameless product placement as a heartfelt moment with your daughter - classy move, Teresa!

It was Amber Marchese vs. Nicole Napolitano again Sunday on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, as the new cast members do their best to make a name for themselves.

Not in the way you might expect from a Bravo show, though.

With news that Jacqueline Laurita is returning to stir up drama and ratings, they upped their game on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Episode 6.

Or did they? What played out last night, and might these events be exactly the reason producers are having Laurita return for the back half of the season?

Amber Marchese and Nicole Napolitano sat down to discuss their infamous hair-pulling fight, and at first it looked like we might see a bit of a rematch.

The body language and words were tense, and a few insults lobbed each other's way felt like the opening salvos of a war that we'd better buckle in for.

But then the unthinkable happened.

Jacqueline Laurita is coming back to join The Real Housewives of New Jersey to stir the pot this season, and some people are not happy about it.

One person in particular.

Jacqueline Laurita and Dina Manzo

In particular, Dina Manzo is so pissed about Laurita returning to the show that she said she wouldn’t have decided to join the cast again if she had known.

“Dina is furious that Jacqueline is back. She never would have come back if she knew Jacqueline was still on the show,” a source close to the situation said.

“She is mad that she’s been put in this position.”

Manzo came back for Season 6 of the struggling show despite saying, “I will never do a reality show with family ever again. It’s just not a healthy environment.”

Laurita is her sister-in-law. It's complicated.

Former reality star Jacqueline Laurita is returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for a few episodes later this season, as reported last week.

Bravo hopes this will provide a return to past ratings gold.

  • Jacqueline Laurita on RHONJ
  • Dina Manzo on RHONJ

"Jacqueline wasn't happy to not be returning to the show [as a cast member] this year. She was sad about it," an insider said of the longtime star.

The ratings for the sixth season so far have been struggling badly, and fan-favorite Laurita's return might provide a necessary spark to boost viewership.

"Now that Jacqueline is coming back for a few episodes, it's Bravo's way of trying to stir up drama. And it probably will," the source close to the show said.

Laurita, 44, had been on the show five seasons but was let go after sister-in-law Dino Manzo said to fire Jacqueline and Carolina Manzo, otherwise she'd walk.

The network obliged, but may be having second thoughts now.

If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey, you saw Nicole Napolitano yank out Amber Marchese's hair in a fight for the ages last weekend.

It was the husbands' turn to throw down this time.

"Would you please stop spitting in my face," Marchese's husband, Jim, told Joe Gorga when the two took it outside to settle their ongoing beef.

Jim didn't attend a guys' night out due to the fact that he runs a mortgage company and can't be around Teresa and Joe Giudice. Gorga? Beyond livid.

"See that hand in my face?" asked Marchese.

"Touch me, and I'll arrest your ass."

Joe Gorga apparently felt this was disloyal and shady of him to distance himself from the group this way, but Jim was undeterred, vowing to hit back HARD.

A familiar face is on her way back to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Multiple outlets (TMZ, Us Weekly) confirm that producers have devised a way to spice of what they believe to be a boring season. Isn't that right, Jacqueline Laurita?

The reality star was let go from Bravo last year, but only because she was preoccupied with family issues and had "lost her edge," insiders tell TMZ.

Jacqueline Laurita Close Up

Hoping she's now found it again, The Real Housewives of New Jersey will actually shoot additional footage with Laurita in it in order to add excitement to Season 6.

"They were planning on taping some new scenes anyway" for the September sentence of Teresa Giudice and her husband on fraud charges, according to Us Weekly.

It was no table-flipping, prostitution-whore-calling public melee, but Amber Marchese and Nicole Napolitano left their own mark on Bravo last night.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars got into a heated argument at a first-responders-themed costume party, and it quickly got very uncomfortable.

Good thing most public servants don't behave like this ...

The impetus for the reality stars getting physical?

Nicole Napolitano confronted Amber Marchese after Melissa Gorga said that Amber had called her a home-wrecker (Marchese says she told Melissa this in confidence).

The gossip didn't sit well with Nicole. At all.

Dressed in a sexy cop costume, Amber approached Nicole to say hello, only to be rebuffed. She asked what the deal was, and one thing led to another.

Before you knew it, Nicole had clenched a fist full of her Garden State adversary's hair; Amber Marchese attacked back verbally as well as physically.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Episode 4 saw the new stars get in on the action like never before, proving they can hold their own.

In the borderline insanity department.

The setting was a first-responders-themed costume party, and the incident was Nicole Napolitano coming at Amber Marchese about salacious rumors.

Marchese, allegedly, had been spreading talk about her being a home-wrecker. Napolitano's twin, Teresa Aprea, got all up in her face regarding this.

Amber followed with "Let's go!" and Napolitano snapped, "I'm not your dog." They went at it like a couple of caged animals after that, dogs or not.

Even as her hair was being yanked, Marchese was still getting in digs at Napolitano, referring to her boyfriend Bobby as she screamed:

"That's why he won't marry your ass!"

"Nicole was my friend," said a distraught Amber, who added that Melissa instigated this by telling Nicole things that she said to her in confidence.

"I hope you're happy, Melissa!"
