Justin Bieber Mourns Death of Young, Brave Fan

Justin Bieber is in mourning this week.

The singer - who was forced to leave one Paris hotel for another on Sunday due to a lack of security - took to Twitter yesterday and sent his prayers to Briana Tejada, a major Belieber who lost her fight against Leukemia over the weekend.

"Just got news about little Briana," Justin wrote. "I was honored to meet her. I know she is up in heaven smiling. #ripBriana #love"

In January, thanks to a #JustinForBriana campaign, the 11-year fan met her idol in Nashville, as her parents described the interaction as a "dream come true" for their daughter.

Prior to that, Justin gave Briana a shout-out in a special video, telling her:

"I just wanted to say my prayers are going out to you and your family. Thank you so much for believing in me and being a big fan. And I'm your biggest fan, and I love you so much."

Sort of puts all those recent Justin Bieber scandals in perspective, doesn't it?
