During the most recent episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, Big Ed and Liz had a chill time.
They hung out with Liz’s grandparents.
The worst that happened was that Ed made a crude sex joke to their faces.
But the teaser for the next episode struck a very different tone.
In the promo, Big Ed Brown said something to Liz Woods, his fiancee and the alleged love of his life.
“F–k you!” Liz declared, and pushed away from him.
She did not stop there. She left the dance floor and ran out into the street, all to get away from Ed.
We all know that Ed’s a creep.
But what exactly did he say?
As the promo for Season 7, Episode 7 begins …
Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods are at a party, standing on what appears to be a dance floor. Liz comes in for what, from her perspective, is going to be an intimate moment with a man whom she inexplicably loves. But something else is on Ed’s mind, and he cannot help himself. He has to ruin the mood and the night.
This is what Big Ed asks
“Were you in a relationship with her?” he asks Liz on camera. We do not know the context of this question, except that presumably the pronoun “her” refers to someone else at this gathering. It looks like Ed’s insecurities are flaring up again. He truly is his own worst enemy. He is also the worst enemy of several women who have had the misfortune of being around him.
Ed should not have asked this
Liz pulls back and says “seriously,” the previously affectionate moment ruined. First of all, Ed is letting his weird insecurities flare up and sabotage things yet again. Second of all, he’s asking her this on camera. Now matter how loud the room is, they are both wearing mics and production has audio software. Even reality stars have private conversations, but Ed made this public. Notably, this was a factor in one of their earliest breakups. Ed wants to be messy on camera, no matter what Liz wants.
Ed thinks that there’s some sort of secret
“Something’s being hid from me,” he accuses while forgetting the word “hidden.” Ed continues, declaring that he wants “to get to the bottom of this. Like, right away.” Unless Liz is cheating on him, is her sexual or relationship history his business? Only if she makes it his business.
“Go f–k yourself”
Angry that Ed is once again ruining a moment and an evening and crossing boundaries, Liz storms off, leaving the colorful lights of the party.
Liz leaving is not enough
Ed chases after her. Thankfully, at a slow pace. It’s unclear if he’s trying to comfort or further interrogate her, but having heard him before, he’s probably going to talk in a condescending manner to her, and possibly apologize and use self-deprecating remarks to make people feel sorry for him instead of holding him accountable. This is a grown man in his 50s.
“I’m done,” Liz appears to say as she begins to cross the street
She’s not wasting any time. She’s carrying her shoes, it seems, to cross the street more quickly. She also calls Ed a “piece of s–t.” It is difficult to disagree with her characterization.
We’re sure that there will be more
We would be remiss if we did not mention that Ed appears to be outing Liz as bisexual, or trying to. We don’t know if it’s true, of course. That’s Liz’s business. No one should ever face outing over their sexuality. Also? Ed has done this before. He outed Rosemarie Vega as bi. Maybe Ed should shut the f–k up before he ruins someone’s life or puts them in danger.
