Nicole Nafziger: I Can PROVE Azan Doesn't Have a Secret Wife!

by at .

Last week, 90 Day Fiance alum Nicole Nafziger returned to America at last.

Her two week vacation to see the love of her life in Morocco had turned into a five month extended stay thanks to COVID-19.

That was a long time to be away from her life ... and trolls hounded her day and night over it.

On top of the usual mom-shaming and insults was a wild theory.

Is her fiance Azan secretly married ... to his cousin ... and has children with her?

That, some fans think, would explain why they are not married.

Nicole is clearing the air once and for all by finally speaking up about this.

1. Nicole has had ENOUGH

Nicole has had ENOUGH
People decide that they don't like a reality star and then they go on social media and spread lies abou them. It happens all of the time. Nicole is putting her foot down about some of the most hurtful and absurd things said about her and her fiance, Azan (Hassan M'Raouni).

2. The rumer is pretty outlandish

The rumer is pretty outlandish
At some point, someone started an unsubstantiated rumor that Azan is actually already married in Morocco. Apparently, that wasn't enough for this particular creative writing exercise, because the rumor also claims that Azan's alleged "secret wife" is also his COUSIN and that they have kids together.

3. The wild rumor has caught on

The wild rumor has caught on
Despite there never being any evidence of it whatsoever -- not just no definitive proof, but no pieces of evidence to be considered or disputed -- there is a solid chunk of the 90 Day Fiance fandom who genuinely believe this. We guess that they just decided against Nicole's relationship and were ready to accept any claim, no matter how far-fetched, that fit tneir preferred narrative.

4. Somehow, it's only the second silliest rumor

Somehow, it's only the second silliest rumor
The most ridiculous rumor that we have ever seen about Nicole and Azan was a claim in July that Nicole wasn't in Morocco during her 5-month stay, and that she was just in Florida the whole time, faking the trip to Morocco for her fans. As if she endued months of hate and frothing-at-the-mouth mom-shaming over "abandoning" May (she addresses that) for funsies. Some people just have worms in their brains.

5. What does Nicole think about rumors of Azan having a "wife" who's not her?

What does Nicole think about rumors of Azan having a "wife" who's not her?
Speaking to CelebMagazine, Nicole is finally directly addressing the rumor: "This is the most ridiculous rumor I’ve heard of Azan yet."

6. What is it even based on?

What is it even based on?
“Whoever’s ‘source’ this was really should have fact-checked this first," Nicole opines.

7. She confirms that he's not married

She confirms that he's not married
"It’s completely fake," Nicole states of the rumor. The kids, the cousins, the marriage itself is all phony.

8. And she can prove it!

And she can prove it!
"When Azan and I applied for the K1 a while back," Nicole explains, "you have to have a paper that says you’re single (not married)."

9. So even if she'd had her doubts

So even if she'd had her doubts
Nicole explains that she has seen the official documents, saying: "I saw that paper because I had to put the packet together."

10. Sadly, she knows how haters see her

Sadly, she knows how haters see her
"As much as people might want to paint me this way, I am not a desperate person for love that I would spend all this time on someone who was married," Nicole states.

11. Even the idea makes her sad

Even the idea makes her sad
“I wouldn’t do it," Nicole says of the elaborate fakery and desperation that her detractors imagine she must have.

12. Anyway

Anyway
"The point is Azan is not married yet," Nicole affirms.

13. Nicole and Azan have plans

Nicole and Azan have plans
"And when he is," Nicole declares, "I will be his first and only wife."

14. While she's clearing up rumors ...

While she's clearing up rumors ...
"I am not pregnant," Nicole confirms, in case anyone for some reason had that impression.

15. As for what the future may hold

As for what the future may hold
“Azan and I definitely will make plans for a baby in our future after marriage," she teases.

16. Speaking of kids ...

Speaking of kids ...
"I did not abandon my daughter,” Nicole affirms. “I have never done that in my life." It is so sad that she even has to say that, but trolls have been accusing her of that and worse for months.

17. Her vacation was only supposed to last two weeks

Her vacation was only supposed to last two weeks
"Even at the time of my flying out, there wasn’t anything about the U.S. or Morocco closing borders and going into lockdown,” Nicole notes. She is absolutely right, and having covered her journey to Morocco myself, I remember that week with crystal clarity. She was in Morocco when COVID-19 was declared a pandemic. That was the week that I ate at a restaurant for the last time before beginning social distancing (and likely the last time in 2020). Nicole's flight wasn't crowded, but she didn't see a single mask at the airport. Early March 2020 was a different time.

18. She and Azan were having a great time ... before lockdown

She and Azan were having a great time ... before lockdown
“Everything seemed to happen really fast about a week into my trip," she accurately recalls. "I figured if I just wait this out, that I could fly home in about a month, maybe two at the most."

19. Her family remained in the loop

Her family remained in the loop
"My mom agreed," Nicole shares, "and just told me to do what I thought was best."

20. Being away from her daughter was painful

Being away from her daughter was painful
"It hurt not getting back to May," Nicole admits, "but I knew it wouldn’t be long before I got home."

21. There was no "simple" solution

There was no "simple" solution
"There were flights that the U.S. made for citizens to return home," Nicole acknowledges, referring to pricey repatriation flights and to a few emergency flights in March, "but I was so nervous about it."

22. She had some reasonable fears

She had some reasonable fears
“I thought it would be overcrowded and maybe I wouldn’t even get on," Nicole adds of the flights. We all remember how all of the toilet paper started vanishing in late March, how maniacs were buying up cleaning supplies and paper towels like the world was ending. Did YOU want to hop on a plane at that point? Can you imagine how scary that must have been?

23. She was afraid

She was afraid
"I didn’t know what to think and with the news of the virus getting worse, I was scared," Nicole shares.

24. So she had a plan

So she had a plan
"I just wanted to wait it out to see the borders opened and then I would get to fly home," Nicole explains. That is why it took her five months to return. She didn't want to get May sick. She didn't want to get her mom sick. And she didn't want to get herself sick. If you know someone who is fighting or has endured COVID-19, you know how miserable it is. And if you have lost a loved one to this deadly virus, you know better than most how much Nicole did not want to risk this happening.

25. We're so glad that she is okay!

We're so glad that she is okay!
After her flight, Nicole took a COVID-19 test before getting to meet her newborn niece, so we are glad that she is home safe!
