Over the course of the past month, the mercurial Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans’ entire world fell apart.
She lost her job (on the MTV reality franchise), custody of her kids, and what remained of her reputation.
It all started when David Eason shot and killed her pet dog, an 11-pound French bulldog named Nugget.
Recent comments made by Evans sure make it sound as though she intends to remain by Eason’s side.
In an Jenelle’s exclusive statement yesterday, she told THG that she and David remain united throughout.
But she certainly didn’t feel that way when this mess got started. In fact, she’s the one that called police.
Take a look at what insiders have recently uncovered:
Better Days

It wasn’t all that long ago that Jenelle and David carefully – albeit unsuccessfully – attempted to maintain the facade of a happy married couple. Now, it’s safe to say those days are done.
The Downward Spiral

Jenelle and David have always had a tumultuous relationship, but their latest troubles began when he shot and killed her pet dog in a violent rage.
Unchecked Violence

It was David’s appalling act of violent cruelty which prompted the CPS investigation that eventually cost Jenelle custody of her kids.
Consequences at Last

The shooting also set off a chain of events that led to Jenelle being fired from Teen Mom 2. Her role on the show remains the only job she’s ever had.
The Facts

We already knew that Jenelle briefly left David after the Nugget shooting. Now we know she also called the police on her husband.
What a Guy

According to a Columbus County Sheriff’s Department report obtained by Radar Online, a cruelty to animals report was filed against David on May 1.
Seems Excessive

“Suspect shot and killed victim’s dog,” the report read. “Shotgun,” was listed as the weapon.
Jenelle Does the Right Thing (For Once)

“Mrs. Jenelle Evans was the reporting person,” a Public Information Officer for Columbus County Sheriff’s Office exclusively told Radar
Sleeping On It?

Interestingly, it seems Jenelle did not make the call immediately after witnessing the shooting. In fact, it appears that roughly 24 hours passed.
The Timeline

It seems that David shot the dog on April 30. Kaiser’s father, Nathan Griffith, caught wind of the incident and requested a welfare check on his son.
Protecting His Child

“There was a dispute with my ex-fiancée and her husband and he shot a dog,” Nathan told a 911 operator.
Confusion Reigns

“There’s been multiple 911 calls and abuse,” Griffith continued. “I’m trying to figure out where my son is at and what I have to do in this situation. I’m so confused right now.”
Desperation

Asked if he wanted a welfare check, Nathan replied, “Something! This is very traumatic. I had a bad childhood growing up. I don’t even think my son is over there anymore.”
Gone Girl

It seems Jenelle had already left The Land at this time, as Nathan can be heard remarking to a third party, “If she goes back, someone is going to die. Get my mother f–king child out of that house.”
Confusing the Issue

Speaking through a rep, Jenelle has confirmed to Radar that she called police in response to the issue, but she says it was not to report David.
No Hoax

“I called them back because the media told the cops I was hoaxing the situation,” Evans says. “I asked to speak to the chief of police.”
No Further Comment

That’s where Jenelle’s account of the phone call ends. Neither she nor her rep explain what she said to the chief of police.
Standing By Her Man

In an exclusive statement to The Hollywood Gossip, however, Jenelle revealed that she has no intention of leaving David.
Jenelle and David on a Date

“I love being a mother and David and I will get through this. We are staying strong and united,” she told us on May 29.
Long Shot

Evans added that she has every intention of regaining custody — WITH David by her side.
Long Road Ahead

“I love my kids so much and I will do anything necessary to get them back and that is all I want everyone to understand,” she told THG. Best of luck with that one.
