It’s been several weeks since Jenelle Evans lost custody of her kids.
For most of that time, Evans and husband David Eason have been reporting to court regularly as part of their effort to convince a judge they’re capable of providing a safe and stable environment for their children.
Unfortunately, the courthouse has been the scene of tense altercations and other forms of high drama.
The insanity that’s unfolded over the course of the past month has led to some wild rumors about Jenelle and David and what sort of outcome they’re hoping for in all of this.
Now, Jenelle is speaking out and hoping to put an end to some of the speculation.

The Happy Family
It’s been over a month since David Eason shot and killed the family dog, thus prompting a CPS investigation that cost him and Jenelle custody of their children.
Going Down Together
At first, it was only David who was under investigation. But once the authorities observed the deplorable conditions on the Easons property, the three children in their care were promptly removed.
Fractured Family
In addition to the kids who were still living on The Land, Jenelle and David both have sons whom they had already lost custody of.
The Math
If you’re keeping score at home, that’s a total of five kids, two of whom had never lived with Jenelle and David on their property.
The Maryssa Factor
There was a time when it was rumored that Jenelle and David were only fighting for custody of their youngest kids, as 11-year-old Maryssa had spoken negatively about them in court and skipped scheduled visitation sessions.
Lashing Out
But now, an outraged Jenelle is setting the record straight and revealing that she and David are fighting for custody of ALL of their kids.
No One Excluded
“The reports about custody are absurd. I don’t understand why everyone thinks Maryssa is excluded out of this situation when every child is involved,” she recently told E! News.
No Exceptions
“We are fighting for all the children to come home,” Evans further clarified.
Taking a Stand
It’s not hard to see why so many believe the Easons have given up on fighting for custody of Maryssa. After all, she’s consistently advocated for herself and her siblings in the battle against her allegedly abusive parents.
That’s Gotta Sting
One insider recalls a recent supervised visit in which David was snubbed by his eldest daughter. “Jace and Ensley were there, as was Kaiser,” the source says. “Maryssa came but refused to see David so he left.”
Trying to Explain
Jenelle admits that emotions are running high for everyone, but claims she and David have nothing but love for all of their children.
Keeping It Together
“It’s really hard holding my emotions together when your child doesn’t want to let you go, but if you don’t hold it together and break down it will make the child more concerned and upset,” Evans told E!
The Jace Factor
Jenelle says she and David are fighting for custody of ALL of their kids, but we doubt that includes her son Jace, who has been in the care of his grandmother since infancy.
Babs Takes Over
In addition to Jace, Barbara now has custody of Jenelle’s youngest child, 2-year-old Ensley.
Drama Everywhere
Speaking of Babs, Jenelle clashed with her mother in the parking lot of the courthouse on Tuesday, and she now says their relationship is once again kaput.
Done With Babs
“[Barbara] has broken my trust,” Evans told E! News, adding that it’s “back to square one with our relationship.”
Moving On
Jenelle says she’s currently attempting to put such drama behind her and focus on her legal battles.
Good Luck With That
She says she and David are doing “everything possible to cooperate with Child Protective Services” and adds that the couple expects to regain custody soon.
A Lot of Time On Her Hands
The recently-fired Jenelle says she’s “completely” focused on bringing her kids home but adds that she’s “working hard on my makeup kit from a distance.”
