Before the Teen Mom star can talk about the future, however, she discussed her recent break-up from John Rodriguez, detailing to the tabloid just where things went wrong and responding to a pressing rumor out there:

How Did These Two Meet?
In rather unusual fashion: at a chicken restaurant, hence why Briana referred to John as Chicken Guy to her friends for awhile.
An Unusual Start to the Romance
“He f-cking stalked the sh-t out of me,” she told told friends on a Teen Mom 2 episode in early 2019.
It Wasn’t Love at First Sight, But…
“We just vibe. You know when you meet somebody and you just vibe?” she said on this same episode. “You talk all night, and you guys are comfortable around each other? It’s like that. I don’t know what it is about him … he has nice eyes, I don’t know.”
Officially Happy
Briana and Johnny went Instagram public in September 2018, with DeJesus telling Radar two months later: “I’m legitimately the happiest I’ve ever been in any relationship in my life.”
Wow, Okay. So What Has Happened Then?
Briana and Johnny have broken up, that’s what. Was it really because he cheated on her?
DeJesus Has Clearly Heard This Chatter
“To be perfectly frank, I did not plan on addressing my personal life and what was going on in it whatsoever publicly at this time,” she tells Us Weekly. “I decided it was best to take matters into my own hands and just address the truth head on.”

Briana chose to end the romance a few days ago because “I realized I wasn’t happy, had too much on my plate and needed to stay focused on all the things going on in my life including my kids, my new spa, filming Teen Mom 2, my other job and my family,” she says.
Kids to Consider
DeJesus is the mother of two daughters. She shares two-year old Stella with Luis Hernandez and seven-year old Nova with Devoin Austin.
This Relationship Fell Apart Sort of Quickly
She and Rodriguez celebrated their one-year anniversary in May in Punta Canta, Dominican Republic, appearing very happy and hashtagging “baecation” on all their Instagram pictures.
Are There Hard Feelings?
Nope. “At the end of the day I truly feel bad about what went down with John and I, as he really is a great, sweet, amazing man,” Briana says.
That’s Very Sweet… But Did He Cheat?
“There was absolutely no cheating in our relationship,” the Teen Mom 2 star states. “John’s a really great guy and the allegations were completely false.”
Taking Responsibility Herself
“Looking back, I don’t think I was ready for nor wanted another relationship,” DeJesus now explains. “I never gave myself time to heal from prior relationships.”
There Was Also the Whole Long Distance Issue
“It was hard,” DeJesus confesses Us Weekly. “I have a lot going on in Florida and John is all the way in New York and that obviously would have a strain on any relationship.”
What About Javi?!?
Javi Marroquin is going through SERIOUS DRAMA with fiancee Lauren Comeau. He allegedly cheated on her. And remember: Briana and Javi dated for a few months at the end of 2017 and start of 2018.

Javi’s relationship is on the rocks? Briana is now single? Do we smell a reconciliation?

No, Briana insists: “Me breaking up with John has nothing to do with the rumored problems Javi is having in his personal life. Javi is old news to me, and I’m not breaking up with John with the hopes of getting back with him. That’s just ridiculous.”

No, Briana really, truly insists: “Even if Javi did want me back — which I’m certain he doesn’t — it’s a solid no from my point. We will never, ever be back together.”

No other guys for awhile, Briana says to the magazine: “I realized I need me time and I’m moving forward focusing on that.
