Back in June, Shia LaBeouf was arrested for disorderly conduct after exhibiting some truly bizarre behavior in a New York City nightclub.

During a performance of Cabaret, Shia smoked, shouted, and slapped other patrons of the club. Some witnesses even claim that LaBeouf fought a homeless man and spat at police officers when they arrived to arrest him.

Today, The Beef finally faced the consequences of his violent outburst, as he went before a judge to plead guilty to all charges against him.

The court showed mercy to Shia, and he was sentenced to six months of probation and six months of outpatient rehab.

LaBeouf’s been in treatment for alcohol addiction since shortly after the incident took place, so he’s already completed half of the rehab requirement.

The question remains, however, will Shia be able to keep his nose clean for the next six months?

It seems like it’s been a long time since Shia’s gone half a year without being involved in some sort of ugly shenanigans.

He kicked off 2014 with a drunken bar fight, and was later involved in a weird plagiarism scandal.

But, Shia’s supposedly sober now, so maybe he’ll change his ways. But hopefully for the sake of our entertainment, he’ll continue to engage in Franco-esque artsy douche behavior.
