Lindsay Lohan is seen looking dramatic, chic and troubled, seemingly alone in an unguarded moment in a new promotional photo for her OWN docu-series.

Oprah Winfrey may be reaching a little with this idea. Or a lot.

The eight-part reality series, called Lindsay, debuts March 9.

The network promises an "honest, no-holds-barred account," of the 27-year-old star’s life, which has made for copious celebrity gossip fodder for years.

A press release says Lindsay Lohan "opens up as never before, discussing everything from her emotional recovery process to her exhausting run-ins with the paparazzi."

The series is directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Amy Rice (really) and focuses on LiLo’s struggle with sobriety after her sixth stint in rehab.

She finished her last court-ordered rehab stay in July.

Will it take? Is this when she’s finally turned the corner?

Somewhat surprisingly, she’s been off the radar a bit by her standards since, save for a couple of Mean Girls reunions. Think she has it together finally?

We’re not going that far, but the trend line is positive.

Lohan told Winfrey, "I feel whole again, and I have such a desire to want to keep this feeling and stay this way, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes."

Ironically, fewer people may tune in if she has gotten her act in gear, especially as the former daily tabloid staple lays low. We’ll find out come next month.
