It’s been rumored many times in the past.

Speculation has often run wild across the Internet.

But now, following years of chatter and innuendo, we might finally be able to write the following words — and be accurate in doing so:

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are headed for a divorce.

To be clear, this has not yet been confirmed.

Also to be clear, we thought that Spelling herself had confirmed a romantic split back in November… only to be proven wrong.

So, what makes astute observers around social media think this could at last be it for the actress and her husband?

Let’s go over the most recent clues, shall we?

Tori left Dean out of the family Christmas card in December.

Spelling has allegedly deleted “wife” from her Instagram bio, as it now reads, "Actress/Mother/Writer/DIYer."

Spelling hosts a podcast along good friend Jennie Garth titled "90210MG."

On a very recent edition, Garth gushed over her husband Dave Abrams, yet Spelling did not mention McDermott in any way, shape or form.

Finally, Tori was photographed without her wedding ring on March 19 while stepping out with her kids at a farmer’s market in California.

On their own, each of these examples may not say very much at all about the state of Spelling and McDermott’s marriage.

But taken together? Amid numerous older examples of trouble in their romantic paradise?

It all makes us think.

Remember, McDermott admitted ages ago to having cheated on Spelling, even attending rehab for a supposed sex addiction around 2013.

“I look back and I remember doing interviews probably seven years ago … I was like, ‘It’s easy, we don’t have to work at it. We have this great marriage,’” Tori recalled to People Magazine in 2017.

“11 years later, I’m like, ‘It’s a lot of work.’ It takes work and I took that for granted — I think we both did.

"We thought, ‘Oh, our relationship just works,’ and the truth is, no relationship just works.”

McDermott echoed this sentiment in a chat with Us Weekly in October 2020.

“Men, we’re like, we need to spread our seed everywhere," he said in absurd fashion at the time.

"It’s [been] in our DNA for millions and millions of years.

"There’s that, but then there’s also, ‘Oh, God. This relationship is work.’ And it is. Every relationship is work and when you get to that point, you can’t bail.

"You’ve gotta knuckle under and work it out.”

Heck, McDermott even confessed that “monogamy is hard” during an episode on his podcast, “Daddy Issues,” in June 2020… which featured his wife as a guest!

Spelling agreed, however.

“The reality is you’re two people,” she said at the time.

“I feel like humans, instinctually, it’s really hard to be monogamous because you’re always changing.

"And if you’re not on the same page, you have to try to change again, and evolve, and be on the same page.”

Real talk?

These two seem miserablel together.

We know they have five kids and we hope they figure out some sort of arrangement that causes those children to be well taken care of by two happy and well-adjusted parents.

But that doesn’t mean they need to remain a couple.
