Back in 2017, Kourtney Kardashian broke up with Younes Bendjima following what appeared to be a casual, post-Scott Disick rebound fling.
Insiders say the fling went on a bit too long; Kourtney got a little spooked, and she decided to back off.
Younes, however, saw the matter very differently.
He didn't want the relationship to end, and insiders say Bendjima has been trying to win Kourtney back for months.
“He’s head over heels and would get serious again in a heartbeat, but Kourt’s no longer there at the moment and just wants to keep things casual,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
“She enjoys the attention and finds it hard to resist having the occasional booty call when he’s so persistent, plus they do still have a bunch of mutual friends in common,” the insider adds.
Kourtney's family is reportedly split on the Younes question.
Her mom and sisters like him a lot, but they worry that he's a bit too young to be a suitable stepfather to her three kids.
Speaking of those kids, Kourtney's baby daddy, Scott Disick, has encouraged her to dump Younes, as he feels the young model has been a damaging influence in her life.
An ex asking you to dump your current boyfriend might sound ridiculous, but Kourtney and Scott are still very close, and those who know her best say she very much values his opinion.
Unfortunately for Younes, it seems Kourtney is still unsure if he qualifies as relationship material.
“Ultimately he’s too intense and controlling,” the insider tells Radar.
“It will take a very special guy to tie Kourtney down long-term.”
And on Tuesday, TMZ confirmed the speculation by publishing video of Kourtney and Younes at Disney Land.
Now, it's not like Kourtney is rocking an engagement ring in this footage.
But come on -- people who are in a "friends with benefits" situation generally don't go on freakin' Disney Land dates.
It remains unclear whether Kourtney and Younes are as serious as he would like to be.
But we think there's little doubt that these two are doing more than just hooking up.
And we're guessing Scott is less than thrilled about it.
