Could Jersey Shore soon lose it second veteran cast member in as many weeks?
With fans of this franchise still recovering from the shock of Snooki walking away from the MTV series, many are now wondering if Angelina Pivarnick might do the same before next season starts filming.
Why would she even considering taking such a step?
Do we even have to explain, given recent events?
For those unaware, some of Pivarnick's co-stars went ahead and basically ruined her wedding to Chris Larangeira last month, roasting the heck out of Angelina during their reception toasts.
Some harmless, good-natured humor can go a long way in these situations sometimes, of course.
However, by all accounts, that's not what transpired when Snooki, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Deena Cortese grabbed the microphone and sabotaged what should have been a joyous event.
They took things way, way too far at the time.
Based on audio leaked online of Pivarnick’s fellow female leads, this wasn't as much a toast but a roast at the hands of her co-stars.
The aforementioned women took the mic and absolutely destroyed Angelina, calling her the “fly on her s–t,” “trash to their bags,” and “dump to their islands” during their bridesmaid speech at her wedding to Larangeira.
Not exactly, right?
One couldn't really blame Angelina if she chose to walk away from Jersey Shore as a result of this treatment, but she told The New York Post yesterday that Snooki and company may have sullied a personal celebration...
... but she wasn't gonna let them destroy her professional world as well.
At publicist Johnny Donovan’s third annual Christmas party at Buca di Beppo in New York on Monday, Page Six asked the reality star whether she still enjoyed being part of this famous cast.
“I am,” Pivarnick said unequivocally.
“I’m not quitting the show.”
Pivarnick, of course, also clashed this past season with Farley after Jenni's boyfriend very clearly hit on her during a night out.
Farley accused Angelina at first of instigating the inappropriate actions, only to realize that her then-lover was definitely the one to blame after seeing footage of the evening in question.
Jenni proceeded to break up with that loser and, it seems now, as if this beef is no longer an issue for Pivarnick - outwardly, at least.
“I don’t know what the future holds for me with everything, but I like the way things are coming out - it’s just that one thing,” she added when speaking to Page Six, making it sound like she only takes exception to the wedding toast debacle.
Pivarnick concluded she has received an overwhelming amount of support from fans on social media, which is a welcome change.
Considering what she experienced when she was on the first run of the MTV show years ago, it's quite the role reversal for her.
“[My husband] is like, ‘I’m glad that people are seeing you for who you are,’ because nobody really did years ago," Angelina says.
"[Then] I was on such a short amount of time, but now I love it,” she says, adding that she enjoys engaging with fans online now.
“At least people think I’m funny now."
"I’m actually funny in real life."
"It’s so much better.”
