It's been less than a month since Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright tied the knot in front of friends, family, and a full camera crew.
But now, to the surprise of absolutely no one, it seems the Vanderpump Rules couple is already experiencing trouble in paradise.
Taylor proposed under less than auspicious circumstances just months after he was caught cheating on Brittany with Faith Stowers.
The ever-optimistic Cartwright accepted in the hope that Jax would change his ways.
Of course, as everyone who's watched a single scene from Vanderpump could have told her -- that's never gonna happen.
But hey, at least she got the lavish wedding she wanted!
“Brittany wanted to have this magical and over-the-top wedding so that she could have a dream wedding that would play out on TV,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
“And although it was everything that she ever wanted and more, the magic didn’t last long at all.”
The source says that tension between Jax and Brittany began mounting almost immediately after the newlyweds said "I do."
“It has just been one thing after another,” the insider claims.
“Brittany is already accusing Jax of having a wandering eye and she doesn’t know how she is ever really going to trust him.”
Taylor says the death of his father transformed him into a different man overnight ... but self-improvement is a lifelong process.
“She thought that getting married would make all of her suspicions go away, but it hasn’t," the source says of Brittany.
"All it has really done was give her a ring and more reason to worry that something may happen.”
And while it's infidelity that's keeping Cartwright up nights, Jax is reportedly terrified of what marriage might do to his financial standing.
“Jax is freaking out about money now, too," says the insider.
"Now that they are married, all of his money is hers and all of her money is his and it has been causing some major issues because she loves to spend.”
The source claims the couple was so certain they would be together forever that they failed to take any precautions.
“And to make matters worse, they did not get a prenup," says the insider.
"Everyone thinks that this was such a huge mistake.”
Yeah, the no prenup thing probably wasn't the greatest idea.
But on the bright side, at least the lengthy divorce battle will make for an interesting spin-off!
