Lisa Vanderpump was not messing around when she said she had no desire to attend the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 9 reunion.
Andy Cohen confirmed on Wednesday, June 5 that Lisa was indeed a no-show at the series taping.
And of course, he was not thrilled.
"Andy felt incredibly disrespected over the fact that Lisa Vanderpump ditched the [RHOBH] reunion," a source close to production told Hollywood Life.
"He tried to get her to come, but she just wouldn't budge.
"When Luann [de Lesseps] or Yolanda [Hadid] didn't attend the reunion, it was much different due to medical reasons, as Lisa was trying to compare the situations...
"But Andy was telling people that he truly felt like LVP stood him up," shared the source.
After a long personal and professional friendship with Lisa, Andy obviously felt quite betrayed.
"He and Lisa have had a great relationship all these years, so he really wished she was there to say her piece," says the insider.
On a commercial break, Andy confirmed with pal and CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper that Lisa was "not here," during an Instagram live video.
He also said "trouble was afoot," but of course didn't mention what happened during filming or what he meant by that statement.
But come on, it's a Real Housewives event -- when is there not some trouble?!
And regardless of Vanderpump's participation, or lack thereof, we all know she will still be the hot topic of conversation...
Or else remain the elephant in the room, which let's face it was pretty much the underlying theme of all of season 9.
Lisa previously said she had 0 plans to attend the reunion after a highly-publicized dispute with her co-stars broke out last year during filming, fans still held out hope that she would show up to defend her side, as did Andy.
However, Hollywood Life explains that Lisa's decision was nothing personal against the father of one.
(Excuse me, two.)
"Lisa made her decision over the weekend and just decided that ultimately this season had been too hard and she didn't want to see any of the women," said the insider.
"It had nothing to do with Andy at all.
"There have been multiple discussions about filming something separately with Lisa, but nothing is set in stone yet."
We totally understand Vanderpump's final call on ditching the event -- she had other plans anyway.
"She just had no desire to be a part of the toxicity she felt this season and the ladies bring to her life," said the source.
"Instead, she spent the day with friends, kicking off pride, and focusing on things more important to her."
"She didn't seem to be upset or thinking about the women at all," added the source.
And as for her cast members who continue to "bash" Lisa for bailing, here's what another close source had to say:
"While the other girls are bashing her, she has a host of topics that she is eager to speak to the mayor about.
"She has a lot more important issues to address, none of which are the 'Housewives.'"
SNAP! There we have it, people!
Bravo has yet to announce when the reunion will air, but at least we have a heads up on the guest list.
As for now, new episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
