Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk have officially called it quits.
And while fans of the popular feature film A Star is Born may be applauding right now -- this is actually a sad situation.
The A-list actor and supermodel have officially decided to break up after four years together, forcing them to divide their sweet family of 3.
Cooper and Shayk are currently working out the custody of their two-year-old daughter Lea De Seine who they welcomed in March 2017, according to People.
Two years prior to the birth of their baby girl, the two sparked romance rumors after attending a Broadway show together.
Paparazzi began catching Bradley and Irina gettin' cozy out in public while a source told E! News that things were quickly "heating up" between the famous duo.
"They both want kids one day and that's been discussed between them," an insider shared at the time.
"They have a huge attraction to each other between their personalities and their sexual energies."
"You see them in a room and you immediately are in love with them as a couple," gushed the source.
By September 2015, the love birds were inseparable, and they were even spending time with each other's families ... before taking the next major step.
That's right -- by spring of 2016, the couple was Instagram official!
They also walked their first red carpet together -- so they really made two major steps.
A short few months later, the 33-year-old Russian model strutted her killer legs and her growing baby bump on the runway of the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Following the birth of their baby girl, the two quickly embraced parenthood.
"They both work together with their baby and are really the most loving and warm parents," a source told E!, adding that the small family divided their time between NYC, London and LA.
Bradley, 44, also opened up about the joy of being a dad in a recent interview with NPR.
"I guess having a child, and having a family of my own -- which is a miracle and something I've always dreamed of -- has opened me up even more," the actor shared.
This break-up report doesn't come as much of a surprise, considering the two have been faced with weeks of stories claiming that their relationship has been hanging on by a thread.
In fact, breakup rumors have been circling them for a while now following rumors about Bradley and his Oscar-winning co-star Lady Gaga.
The actress even had to speak out about all the (pretty convincing) nonsense.
"No," she declared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! when he asked her if she was having an affair.
"I'm an artist, and I guess [Bradley and I] did a good job. And, fooled ya!"
And even though Gaga -- and her outstanding and extremely intimate performance with Cooper -- is likely to get the heat for this split, the exes thought long and hard about their decision to separate, according to the source.
After Irina was photographed without her engagement ring and after reports claimed that she had moved out of Cooper's home, things weren't looking at all promising for the pair.
E! reported yesterday that the two have been struggling for a while now and that their child was the only reason they still put up with each other.
"They've spent time apart to test the waters and see if they are better off," an insider said.
"They have a lot invested and it's very difficult to completely walk away from."
And when it comes to their daughter, they have been "trying out different arrangements and trying to find their way."
"They love their little girl dearly and that's not going to change no matter what," the source added.
While this relationship wistfully fades -- we can't help but wonder, will another
star lover be born?! ...
