Lamar Odom has a memoir to promote, and apparently, that’s very bad news for Khloe Kardashian.
You see, Lamar is well aware that despite his many years in the NBA, his marriage to Khloe and the meltdown that followed remain the most interesting parts of his life.
And so, dude simply can’t stop airing his dirty laundry these days, which means Khloe’s phone is probably lighting up unpleasant memories in the form of news alerts roughly every four minutes.
Before the book came out Odom apologized for being a horny cokehead during his relationship with Khloe.
Lamar claims he’s slept with 2,000 women, many of them during his marriage.
At this point, Odom has confessed to so much horrendous behavior during his marriage that there’s no way we could list it all here.
Infidelity not bad enough for you?
Well then, how about the time Lamar threatened to kill Khloe while so whacked out on coke and Molly that he was hallucinating?
Like we said, too much awfulness for one article, which we guess is the point of the memoir:
You have to buy the book to understand just how profoundly Odom sucks.
Needless to say, Lamar was a somewhat less-than-ideal husband.
And yet, despite all of that, the 39-year-old still considers himself in a position to comment on the Tristan Thompson cheating scandals.
Yes in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lamar wert off on Khloe’s other basketball-playing beau for being unfaithful:
"It’s a bad situation," he told the outlet.
"She doesn’t deserve that. She’s a beautiful person from the inside out. You know, [it’s] just a man being as stupid as I was. Just a bad decision."
Yeah, what Tristan did was bad but, ya know … at least he never threatened to kill him.
"Maybe months at a time." He added,
"My marriage, I was faithful the first couple of years."
In the same interview, Lamar — seemingly without irony — spoke about how Khloe nursed him back to health after he nearly died from an overdose back in 2015:
"That was the scariest moment," he said.
"But Khloe helped me. She was bringing pictures up of my mother and my grandmother, making me say their names.’
Later that night, he once again spoke about threatening to kill his then-wife ("I’m pretty sure she had to be scared," he said in the interview, "I couldn’t believe how I was treating a queen like that.") in an interview with Nightline.
We think we speak for Khloe and the entire freakin’ world when we implore Lamar to please sit the f–k down.
