If you follow Zayn Malik on Twitter then you have seen his emotional tirades throughout the past few days.
If you don't follow Zayn Malik on Twitter, well -- he's going through some stuff.
"you aren't the person you said you were," he wrote on Wednesday, kicking off a series of tweets which many believe were directed at his on again/off again girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
The cryptic and explicit-filled messages continued, making it clear that the former One Direction singer is in an emotional space and definitely using the social media outlet to let off some steam.
"How about you all go f--k yourselves with your irrelevant bulls--t," he captioned another post.
Naturally, fans assumed his rage was against his ex, because this isn't the first time he took to Twitter to diss the 23-year-old supermodel.
These fiery tweets surfaced after several publications reported that Hadid was allegedly dating Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend, Samuel Krost.
However, Gigi was quick to shut down the rumors.
"If you outlets are going to continue writing bs headlines every time I'm seen with a friend of the male gender then there's gunna [sic] be a lot of unneeded confusion," she tweeted on April 3.
But Zayn finally cleaned up his mess on Thursday, delivering yet another message loud and clear to all of Gigi's haters.
"My tweet was not about @GigiHadid so leave her the f--k alone," he wrote.
"She is the most amazing woman I've ever known."
He continues, "And [she] does nothing but love and support me when lord knows I don't deserve it."
"If you know nothing shut your f--king mouth," blasted the 26-year-old.
Instead, as he tried to convince his 28.3 million followers to leave Hadid alone, he blamed his twitter rant on "any dumb f--k out there who wants to make they're [sic] own stories up."
"Wishful thinking there, of course, as that's definitely not how social media tends to work."
But with the timing if of it all, it's no wonder fans thought his anger was directed at the fashion model.
Recently the two sparked romance rumors once again after the singer tweeted, "@GigiHadid love you."
And according to E!, their on again/off again relationship has spanned the past several years, but they were believed to have rekindled their romance for a third time in March after having broken up again in January.
It's ok if you're confused, math is hard.
Malik's fans have been highly invested in his love life and even though it may be none of their business, they just want happiness for the singer!
But after Zayn made it clear he is going through something, as proven by his "I don't deserve it" comment about Hadid's love and support, maybe that is the thing he needs more of from his fans.
Support and love, rather than misdirected insults and outrage.
In the words of Zayn's April 3 tweet, "This ain't a place for feelings."
