As previously detailed, it sounds as if Bristol Palin is done with Teen Mom OG.

In a recent Instagram Live Q&A, the mother of three shook her head no when asked whether she would continue with the series after the way she was portrayed by produced on her first season as a cast member.

(Palin had previously whined a whole lot about how executives made her out to be a villain, only focusing on the negative and controversial aspects of her failed marriage to Dakota Meyer.)

Now, meanwhile, it sounds as if MTV isn’t merely done with Bristol, but with anyone even remotely associated with this polarizing personality.

We sincerely hope this means former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

And we can now confirm it means her former fiance and initial baby daddy, Levi Johnston.

Johnston, the father of Bristol’s son Tripp, and his wife, Sunny, made brief cameos on the most recent Teen Mom OG season.

It had been assumed for the past several weeks that they’d also be included on new episodes later this year, partly because they play a role in Bristol’s life and partly because, let’s face it…

… what else do they have going on?

But Sunny took to her own Instagram account late last week and broke some terrible news to her followers.

“Will there be a new season? Would love it if they would show more of your personalities," a fan actually asked of Sunny, to which she replied:

"We got the phone call that Teen Mom is over for our story."

By choice? Via their own volition? Nope, Sunny added:

"They have chose not to air so many cool things we’ve filmed! It’s crazy."

So crazy, right?!?

Who out there isn’t dying to see what Levi and Sunny Johnston have been up to these days?!?

The former actually walked across the Republican National Convention stage back in 2008 after a teenage Bristol announced she was pregnant while her mother was running for the second-highest office in the United States.

Once this pregnancy news broke, Levi and Bristol pretended to be a real, engaged couple and everything so that it wouldn’t look really bad for the Vice Presidential candidate’s daughter to have been knocked up by a one-night stand.

The charade eventually ended, though, and Bristol split from Johnston awhile later.

Levi then married Sunny in October of 2012 and the two actually announced in November that they’re expecting another child.

For the most part, Levi and Bristol have maintained an amicable relationship over the past couple years, although Sunny had some words for Bristol in October after she implied that Levi wasn’t close with his son.

"I just pray for Levi and [Bristol] to always keep striving to have a better co-parenting relationship for Tripp," Sunny said this past fall.

As for whether we’ll ever see her on television ever again?

"We will see how another project is coming along to where that might be possible!” she told followers after confirming she was out of Teen Mom.

We’ll just pray this will be the case.
